Hey Nice Bags
I roast coffee and am always looking for a solid bag to store it in when I ship coffee to my family. These coffee bags fit the bill. I roasted a sizeable amount of coffee, wrote on the bags, and sealed them with an iron. I kept the sealed bags with coffee for two days before I shipped them out on a four-day journey. My family received the sealed bags and stated that they were still nicely sealed. I do believe that these bags are LITTLE pricey compared to some coffee bags from a coffee distributor, but not by much. I would not have a problem with buying these bags again.

Coffee Bags w/Valve
These are some very well made coffee bags!**Keep in mind that this review is from the stance of a lifelong coffee drinker, and newly learning coffee roster. I am doing so much research at the moment for roasted coffee and these bags are excellent!**And I say coffee bags because they will hold Fresh roasted coffee beans or fresh ground coffee beans!They are not paper lined so they will not sap the oils from the beans or grounds drying out causing the coffee to go stale.These bags are sealed and able to be opened out to sit upright. The bags all have a one-way-valve that lets built up gas escape, but no outside air get in.This does help keep the coffee fresher longer.The bags are not lined with a paper product at all so they will not aid to causing the coffee to go stale, either.Because the are multi-walled and sealed together rather than glued, these bags are quite sturdy enough to hold up to some harsh travel conditions.The valve that keeps air out will also keep most water from getting in, but I wouldn’t want to submerge it or keep it in a wet environment for too long, but that;s just me. Besides the seals and the valve might keep everything nicely sealed, but if the “zipper” opening is not closed all of the way, the seals are useless.So remember to reseal the bag back up when it isn’t being used to extend the life and flavor of your coffee!The zip seal on thee bags opens wide enough to get a scooper in, so they are easy to fill, and empty!You can write on these bags with indelible ink and not worry about the writing smudging!These bags will also hod printed stickers very well!So depending on the bags you order, rest assured these are quality bags!I am reviewing the White bags, 100 pieces of 16 oz (1 lb) coffee bagsThis seller offers:Colors:~Black~Kraft paper (Tan)~WhiteSizes:~16 oz (1 pound)~8 ozAmounts:~100 bags~50 bags

Nice for herbs….
My daughter has taken an interest in herbal teas and these bags are great for storing her herbs. They are thick and strong. The reason for the 4-star is the seal does weaken a bit with repeated use. Not a deal breaker, but just something I did notice.

Great value for 100pcs!
Pictured is approx. 13oz ground coffee packed into the 8oz/half pound version of the kraft paper (brown) valve seal bag. Works perfectly and I am pleased with these bags. The price is just right at approx 40 cents per bag (after tax).The 100packs come in 2 packs of 50 – and the plastic that each 50 is packed into is one of the weakest plastic I’ve ever seen! I looked at it sternly and it tore open ;-). Does not take away from the quality of these resealable bags at the slightest but I felt it was noteworthy, so I thought I’d share. You will not be able to store these bags in the plastic it arrives in, so plan accordingly. I put mine into a Kraft box I nicked from my wife.I usually test these bags the following way: I fill the bag with ground coffee and after vacuum sealing the top flap, I press the bag to check the seal and make sure no ground coffee exits the bag. If the seal is weak or has left openings (usually near the folds at either edges), ground coffee will exit through there. I acquired a perfect seal the first time itself on these, which is good. I also got the awesome aroma of freshly ground coffee through the valve.I took the bag to a friendâs for dinner, where I watched him open the seal and it works precisely as expected, and resealing the ziplock portion by hand also worked as expected. Pleased.

Beautiful, sleek, professional & commercial looking, great seal & resealable
I really like these bags. I used them to bag fresh roasted coffee, but I’m sure they can be for other purposes as well. They are really, really nice. Commercial grade. Made me feel like I was a big company instead of just a home coffee roaster. Some things to note:* The color of the bags is really nice. Not just black, but with a slight sheen, that gives them a very sleek and commercial look.* The bag seals easily with a heat sealer. On almost the highest setting, it takes about 4 seconds on my heat sealer to seal these bags closed. That’s really fast! And the seal is completely closed throughout, a testament to the build quality of the bag.* The one way gas release valve is critical for keeping things fresh, in my case, fresh roasted coffee.* The bags are resealable, which is really cool! Just zip off the tag on the zipper, and access and reseal whatever you are keeping in there. I think for this reason, these bags could be reused over and over as well, since you never need to break the original seal.* Commercial grade, very professional looking, very sleek, highly presentable bags.I would definitely order these again and recommend them to others.
