It is a fairly heavy Chinese style tea cup with server saucer and a custom fit infuser and lid for a nice cup of tea for personal steeping times. It arrived, a little slow in shipping (but who is impatient for a tea cup’s arrival?), but well packaged and not chipped. The infuser and the lid fit the cup and they all sat nicely on their saucer, so as a tea cup it worked! I got exactly what I wanted. My High Mountain Monkey Tea is refreshing in my dragon cup.

Almost a “5”
The infuser leaves some to be desired, if you don’t want to spend time dipping small tea leaves/broken tea leaves out of your cup.Plan on getting a stainless steel infuser with extra fine holes.So far the only tea I’ve used is The Tao of Tea Pearl ‘Gunpowder Green Tea’. (highly recommend, BTW, if you want a tea high in Vitamin Caffine.)(The black tea I ordered at the same time should be here in a day or two.)If not for that one ussue, I would give the set a “5”.It looks better than I thought it would.Feels high quality.Well packaged.

My Son Loves It!
This was a gift for my son, who is an avid tea drinker, and he loved it! It was very well made and packaged very well! The design was very intricate and detailed.

Smaller than seems in photo
While this set is smaller than you would think( maybe 6 ozs) from the photo, you have to remember itâs not an everyday study type of ceramic breakfast mug. Itâs beautifully made, the colors are a nice combination of deep red and gold. I would say itâs an elegant china tea cup. It is light like a porcelain product instead of the heavy ceramic you would expect for a âmugâ. That being said, I liked it. One caveat, it says to hand wash so I would assume not microwave safe either.
