Changed my coffee experience.
First off, let me just start this by saying that I used to drink my coffee with a lot cream and sugar. I just didn’t like the strong bitter taste of coffee (but like it full of sugar and milk). My husband on the other hand drinks his coffee black. We have friends who have a Chemex. They brought it camping (he is an engineer and packed in safely in a box). He made coffee the first morning with this and my husband was sold. He literally ordered a Chemex and these filters Sunday morning before we left the camp site and they were at our door step when we got home (love same-day delivery!!!).I didn’t really care either way if my coffee came out of the Keurig or the Chemex. It all tastes good full of cream and sugar. Then we decided to do Whole30. Goodbye cream. Goodbye sugar. But to my surprise i was able to drink my coffee with only a bit of homemade cashew milk. I had never drank coffee without cream and sugar. It was so smooth. After a few days I started drinking it black. I don’t think I could have done that with coffee made any other way.We don’t brink store bought coffee. We drink coffee from local coffee shops that has been roasted within the week usually (we live in the San Francisco Bay Area and have some of the best coffee around). These filters work great. Are easy to use and always arrive perfectly undamaged.I hate admitting it but I am (almost) just as much a coffee snob as my husband now.

Works great
These filters work very well. I have tried other filters and always find myself going back to the Chemex. They fit the brewer perfectly and my coffee tastes great.

Best filters I have ever used
Chemex filters are by far the best I have ever tried. Chemex filters do, indeed, filter out the sediments but allow some of the oils to pass through, which makes a flavorful, but not bitter, cup of coffee.I use these filters in an unusual way because I do not own a Chemex coffee brewer. Instead, I use a ceramic filter holder (with only one hole) over an insulated pot. I then add a Chemex filter, rinse it with boiling water, and then dump out the hot water from the pot. Next I pour the freshly-ground coffee beans in a reusable gold-plated filter, and drop that into the Chemex filter over the coffee pot. This setup allows the water to drain through the coffee grounds at the perfect rate, and the sediments that escape through the gold filter are caught by the Chemex filter. The result is a perfectly brewed cup. Thanks to the Chemex filters, my coffee is never over-filtered — I can taste pretty much as many flavors as if I had used a French press, but without any sediment in the cup. Delightful!

The best filters
These filters were designed by Chemex and they are absolutely better than any other. If youâre using a Chemex coffee maker, then you should use these filters. I have tried both the natural, and the oxygen bleached. I found the natural filter left a paper taste in the coffee even after pre-rinsing. But if you stirred the coffee before drinking the paper taste was hardly noticeable.

Fits where others won’t
I bought the large chemex pour-over maker and normal coffee filters made it spit or opened up at the bottom during use where I had to start doubling up. These filters are awesome, solve the spitting issue and are oversized for easy grind addition with no accidental grit in the coffee maker.
