I rarely write reviews on products and typically just select the stars. This product was so worth my time to write a solid review! It is long but thorough and detailed!We bought this for a road trip hoping it would be easy to travel with. It was such a great price that I was worried it would be cheaply made. I could not have been more wrong! It was so perfect! It is easy to clean, very light and compact, and is so easy to transition between coffee, tea, and K-cups to fit the tastes of my family, as well as cup sizes! It is so quick and easy to clean that we could transition between drinks with absolutely no fuss! There is nothing easier than having a coffee maker that you can use from the back seat of the car parked on the side of the road on a road trip! (We used an adapter cord to plug in the device to our cigarette lighter) Within a few moments we were drinking coffee, hot chocolate, and tea from our favorite travel cups!As another side note, it is quite durable and easy to pack back up without fear of it leaking or making a mess! (Now if only they would make a travel case for it, hint hint Chefman ;). The design is simple and sleek for those that are concerned about it being aesthetically pleasing.My mom is very petite and has arthritis in her hands and was able to use this with no trouble at all, and it was light enough for her to use without help. Even my 9 year old daughter was able to use easily (of course with supervision as the water gets quite hot!)We love this so much that we use it at home all the time, and it has replaced a certain other name brand K-cup device that took up 4 times the counter space 😉. We will be using this for years to come!Linds and family

This was my 4th Chefman coffee maker. I love how fast they brew despite the fact that they spatter coffee everywhere the way it drips down. I had to buy a new one each year as that is all they last. The last one I had lasted less than three months. Customer service was great and had me send send a video, etc. and once approved, I had to send a photo showing I cut the cord. They sent me a new one. However, in the meantime I did not want to wait for the new one so I purchased another one to use right away and when the replacement coffee maker arrived, I put it away figuring I would need it in year. WRONG! The new one I bought to use stopped working in 30 days – yes DAYS! At least I had my spare one they had sent me under the warranty for my last one. I am not wasting my time going through the hassle of taking a video, etc. (what they require for the warranty) as I do NOT want a replacement. I am so disappointed.

I carry this machine with me on the road, in rough environments and I. I have chosen this brewer because I can fit my Thermos 16 oz travel mug (~7″ tall).It is surviving over a year brewing 2-3 K-cups 5 days/week, plus a few cups during the weekends.Definitely, it is not idiot proof: there is no sensor to detect that the lid is open. Therefore, if you press the brew button without closing the lid, be prepared for a hot shower.

This is the second Chefman coffee maker I’ve had, the first one I bought at a big box membership store. These are OK and make a quick cup of coffee just two minutes but it seems that the pods are not the standard size. The reusable pods that I had bought seem just slightly too tall.I’ve tried a few. So I don’t really know what’s up with that but the reusable pods it comes with breaks a little hinge thing after a few months and I have to mess with that to get it to work. first world problem lol but anyway it makes a quick cup of coffee and it’s simple and I like that.I’m giving it 4 stars because of that.if it would just take normal every day available reusable pods, I would give it 5 stars.

Super value for what we were looking for. Tried this coffee maker for a couple of reasons. Most important is our travel mugs are too tall to fit in other k-cup machines. The second reason is our kitchen has precious little counter space for gadgets. This machine has a tiny footprint and is very compact. Can’t knock that it’s simple to use and brews faster than most would expect. If I could change anything, I’d make it more vertically accommodating for higher-capacity travel mugs. You can only use water up to the 14 oz level. A 16oz mug has no problem fitting. My preference would be to have the option to fit and brew up to a 22oz mug.*** BIG BONUS: The 1-year warranty is included. Oddly, mine stopped working in just under a year. Was about to reorder when I recalled remembered this one had a warranty. Customer Service was easy to reach online and resolved my issue super quickly. A brand-new machine was shipped immediately and arrived shortly after I contacted them. Very happy camper!!

After daily use this coffee maker died, and it started spraying steam in every direction. Now when opening the lid it has melted and deformed the hinge pin holder, and the water head is very hard to pivot. I had seen other reviews about these coffee makers dying a quick death, but I thought it was just a fluke. Turns out it’s not.Before its untimely demise, we liked it due to its quick heating speed, and making a great, hot, cup of coffee. We liked it so much we ordered a 2nd one on February 23rd, so chances are I’ll be back here the 3rd week of April or so to report another fault. Great idea, horrible execution.

When I first received it I loved it. Worked well and it made the coffee nice and hot and fast. Well not three weeks later it stopped working and I contacted the seller Chefman. The piece of plastic that piped the hot water to the cup broke and was spraying the hot water all over instead of into the k cup. I contacted Chefman and the nice gentleman I spoke to said that he would send me an email with all the info I need to execute an exchange. Well a few days go by and no email. Contact them again and am told its past the refund period… hmmmm. Well I guess I know what brand not to buy.
