Nice enough but not the color shown
I got this because I’m in love with all things 1970s and this reminded me of that. In the pictures, it looks kind of off-white with brown/caramel reactive glaze around the lip, and a darker base and handle. In reality, it’s brown with a slightly-darker brown reactive glaze around the lip – just dark all over, without the nice contrast seen in the pictures. I guess it’s still kind of 70s, but it’s also kind of ugly. Also, despite the very well-cushioned packaging, mine has a chip on the handle, or perhaps it’s just a spot the paint didn’t cover? Either way there’s a white nick in the handle exposing the plain ceramic underneath. I think perhaps I just got unlucky there.The cup does seem fine, nothing is cracked or loose, it won’t topple over or anything, it’s comfortable to hold. I’m just disappointed that it doesn’t look like the pictures. Brown on brown is a lot less attractive than brown on cream.

Pretty but nothing special
This is a really mug. I love pottery and having different mugs to suit my different moods. This mug looks like it should come in a set of four or match a set of dishes. There really isn’t anything special about it, and it is 12 oz which is not an oversized mug, just typical.

Oversize Mug
Two oversized ceramic mugs for the price of one! I ordered this set of mugs in the color off-white. I love the texture and shape of these mugs. The handle is equivalent to the size of the mugs. There’s nothing worse than a large mug with a useless tiny handle. The mugs are lightweight and well-constructed. They’re microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe. I’m happy with these mugs and ecstatic about adding them to my collection.Rating: 5 out of 5.
