Pretty but..
I love the aesthetics of this kettle. Functionality wise there are some concerns. it spills when it is 2/3 full. The sieve that came with it is shallow and doesnât reach bottom so i have to use another one. It is hard to clean as well. However i would keep it because quality seems good and it is beautiful. It is okay for the price as well. The size is good for 2 cups. Have not seen any rust after using it for a couple weeks.

Solid & sturdy cast iron teapot
This enamel-lined cast iron teapot is hefty and solid. While it can be used to directly heat up the water, for longevity I would recommend using a different kettle on the heat source, and just add the hot water to this one like a ceramic teapot. The handle folds down and the lid reverses to make it streamlined for storage. The metal infuser fits in nicely but is easy to remove. You can use teabags instead if you want, just donât add the infuser. The tea I made stayed hot much longer than it would in a ceramic pot, and even longer with a cozy. I steeped the tea, removed the leaves, and had it hot from the teapot all morning. No need to transfer to a travel mug for staying at home! Itâs not a big pot, only 2 to 4 cups (depending on your mug/cup!). 2 cups for me in my big hefty mug, but as it stayed hot in the pot I only poured a bit at a time.
