More than Workable
Out of the box this machine is pretty darn decent and has the potential to be great. I’m far from an expert or pro, and wanted to see what I could pull with this machine with only what was included in the box. I did use a scale. 15g in and 28g out. Ground by hand with a Mavo Pro on 15 clicks. The included pressurized portafilter gives you a very foamy faux crema head but with a single spoon stir it’s comes across as more natural to the palate. The included taper is doing use a disservice and that would be the first thing I recommend upgrading. After the first few the only thing I’ve done to my puck routine is use a WDT tool. Our living situation changed recently and I am extremely grateful for this machine and to have access to manual espresso at home once again. The steam wand and touch screen take some getting used to – the manual is helpful – the flashing indicates a boiler protection and requires a manual purge of water from the steam wand – don’t be frustrated thinking it’s not working. With a few extra accessories in the future this machine is going to be great. Very happy with it so far.

Espresso and hot frothed milk – Life is good with this machine.
Thereâs nothing like becoming your own barista in your home. This âProfessional Espresso Maker with Milk Frother Steam Wandâ allows me to make my own Espresso right at home. Since I was unfamiliar with the process of making espresso, I had to learn by using the instructions which are simple and clear. After a little practice I was able to prepare espresso and frothed milk for myself and my wife.This machine is very simple to operate. The control panel is clear and easy to understand once you read the direction flyer on the steps to follow to use this machine. The quality of the machine seems almost professional level. The espresso comes out hot, but not too hot. With a little practice you can make the frothed milk very hot if you choose to.Since I have never operated a professional espresso machine at a coffee shop, I cannot make a fair comparison with a commercial unit. I can say that the results of my efforts on this machine yielded tasty espresso with frothed milk and a smile on my wifeâs and my face.

Dead on arrival, and I was sent a used unit
I was really looking forward to this Espresso Machine from CasaBrews.The box it arrived in looked a little bit suspicious, with extra tape and wear. The inside looked hastily repacked, and alarmingly, the entire unit was wet with water. It was obvious at this point, the unit was used/returned/sent back out to me. I pushed on though, hoping the water came from some sort of testing by the domestic distributor.Nope. The unit did not work at all. Dead on arrival. I followed the instructions exactly for “first use cycle” to activate the pump. Nothing. Dead on arrival.

Well done !
I was super excited to try my new espresso machine. When I opened the box I was happy to see that the build quality was excellent. The portafilter seems well made and comes with two stainless portafilter baskets for a single or double shot.I was also impressed with the detailed instruction manual and a quick setup guide with pictures.The excitement started to fade when I saw just how long the âquickâ setup was. Although once I used it a couple of times, the instructions didnât seem as intimidating and I was able to make a good cup of espresso.I approve of this product and would purchase again!

I’m impressed.
Not a connoisseur here but this Espresso Machine impressed me from unboxing to use. 1st it is very attractive and something you will not be embarrassed to have out on the counter, speaking of which the footprint is manageable if you are short on counter real estate. Easy to use and understand. The included tamping block is something you may want to upgrade but I’m glad they included one to get you started.My rating method:1 star – Avoid2 stars – Doesn’t meet expectations on quality or materials3 stars – Meets expectations, but does not stand out, maybe costly compared to others4 stars – Exceeds expectations, something stands out, good value, recommended.5 stars – Awesome – blew it out of the park on quality, value – Highly recommended.

CASABREWS Espresso Machine!
This is my first espresso machine so I have nothing to compare it to but Iâm impressed. It looks very nice and modern with its touchscreen and stainless steel, also it preheats really fast. After I read and did the first time use cleaning instructions I made hot chocolate using the hot water and milk frother and it worked great. The lights flash while itâs preheating so donât worry itâs supposed to do that. Pros: compact, heats up fast and works great.Cons: I didnât get this sooner. 🙂

Casabrews Espresso Machine
I’ve been getting deeper in the process of coffee. I now roast beans, grind them and with this latest purchase making real espresso! I was using a Moka pot,but a real espresso machine uses a high pressure pump, this really brings out the flavor of the beans with less bitter notes!The Casabrews machine is compact and spare, taking up little space on the counter. There are a set of instructional videos that help explain the functions,band they are worth sitting through.I’ve adjusted the volume of the 2 cup dispenser to increase the water as I pack the filter full. I also found preheating the cup with no coffee in the machine helps for a hotter espresso.I have tried Keurig, Moka pot, Nespresso cups(1st gen) and nothing gives me a cup of espresso with the voluptuous head of crema like this machine. My cup is now unique and delicious, and makes every morning a Good Morning!
