    Outstanding value!
I purchased this on Black Friday. Sometimes when there is a great price for coffee, the coffee isn’t fresh or flavorful. But this time, I hit the jackpot. Upon opening a bag, the aroma was strong and fresh. When I brewed a cup, it was full of flavor. Even at the non-sale price, Caribou Coffee is definitely worth it.

    My new favorite
Flavor is great and strength is perfect. Some have complained that the beans are oily but that did not impact the quality of the coffee. Seems to be less acidic than other medium roasts.

    I love Caribou Coffee.
It has a great full bodied flavor without tasting burnt like some other brands of coffee. I wish Caribou was sold in more stores. I often travel to Minnesota, and bring back Caribou Coffee.

    Solid cup…
Not too strong or weak. A good doughnut shop and I have a hunch Peets makes it for them. Good enough to be permanent on the list.

A nice alternative to Starbucks, Pike’s Place.
I’ve been drinking Pike’s Place for the longest time, and enjoy it. The quality is consistent and it’s priced reasonably. However, after trying Caribou Coffee (Mahogany blend) at the Denver airport recently, I decided to experiment more. Trying new coffees requires the acceptance of the risk that you’ll buy a bag of coffee, not like it, and throw it in the trash (I recently did this with a dark roast). Then there is the joy of finding a coffee that you’ll find enjoyable. I think the Caribou blend is that type of coffee. It’s balanced (not bitter, has a hint of chocolate), something that you would find as the main medium roast coffee offering of a restaurant or coffee shop. I like it more than the Mahogany blend, and it’s smoother than Starbucks Pike Place. It’s hard to describe taste, since it’s highly subjective, but I do find the coffee enjoyable and would recommend it to others looking for an excellent coffee that isn’t expensive.

    Great coffee
I’ve tried all the usuals and this is the best coffee for me in the morning. It’s not bitter and therefore doesn’t need a ton of sugar, it has a lovely medium roast balance and just tastes great.
