Exactly as advertised, happy with my purchase
Size: I purchased this based on it being a smaller grinder as it is my backup grinder. We have a large burr grinder we use for espresso and itâs a pain to change the grind once itâs âdialed inâ so we purchased this for French press and pour over ideas. It suits our purpose quite well and can hold about 3oz of beans without being over full. I read some reviewers say 10 Tbs another said 1/2 a cup. I would agree with those assessments too. Itâs compact and the cord storage built in at the bottom is a big plus.Design: I wanted a stainless interior and I am glad I got this unit. As another user mentioned, the lid fitting over the top of the grinder rather than tucking inside is a plus in my book too. It makes for easier clean up and seems like a better long term design. The clear lid and stainless interior make it easy to see whatâs going on inside, whereas if the bottom were black plastic as is the case with many grinders, it would be harder to discern.Grind: as advertised, this is not an adjustable grind. However, the longer you grind, the finer the grind will become. One user mentioned that the grind was inconsistent with some being finer and some coarser. I can concur with this, but with most grinders like this, that is par for the course. My solution for this is to slowly turn the unit upside down while grinding which shifts the contents and uses gravity to help distribute the contents for a more even grind. Of course, if you do this keep your hand on the lid so you donât spill :)Value: this is exactly what I was hoping for and I like how it works and looks. I did see the reviews that mentioned they had issues down the road so I will be sure to follow up if I experience any issues. I always appreciate feedback about small appliances as time wears on because itâs important to know if the unit will last for a year, or a month.Other uses: worth noting that we also wanted to use this for spices and given the ability to grind to a fine dust, it will be great for star anise and other hard spices we like to use. The stainless chamber will make it easy to clean out when using between spices and coffee.

Great for Grinding BBQ Rubs
On the advice of a friend, I purchased this to grind spices. He told me that he tried a few different ones, including some of the big $$$ ones that cost $150 or more. After all was said and done, he said that this one was the best one he has ever owned and in fact, purchased two of them – one for coffee and one for spices. The only problem he ever had was with whole nutmegs. Aside from that, it worked great for him. And with that also being said, I bought one, too – just for spices (I’m not a coffee drinker). I use it to grind spices for making barbecue rubs. Grinding spices helps them penetrate the meat deeper and less spice is required to get the same flavor into the meat. To that end, this little grinder is fantastic and does the intended job wonderfully. Oh, and it does it for under $20, I don’t think the price can be beat for the same quality, either. So, if you need a spice grinder, definitely consider this one, especially over those more expensive ones.UPDATE 7/23/2018 – I have used this little guy a several times now and still have nothing to complain about. It works well, it works fast, and it does exactly what I needed it to do – grind spices up into a powder to then use or rubbing meat for grilling/smoking. To that end, the ribs were fantastic that I smoked yesterday and this device contributed largely to the success of how those ribs turned out. I’m still very pleased with this product, especially the price.

The best grinder ever!
I bought this for my sister because she was looking for a grind to grind the Coffee. I saw that grinder on amazon at a really good price. I bought it for her as soon as I saw it. When she tried it, she said that it’s not noisy and that it has a long wire, which she liked. She also likes the size because it’s small, which makes it easier to store it anywhere you want. A very strong product that can grind anything you want and comes to your mind. It also has a clear lid that you could see through, which helps you see the size of what you are grinding whether you want it smooth or rough. We shouldn’t forget that it’s easy to clean. My sister is very pleased with this product!

Grinding with style and sass!
The Capresso Cool Grind Coffee/Spice Grinder has turned my mornings into a caffeine-fueled fiesta! It grinds my coffee beans so well, I swear my kitchen smells like a hipster coffee shop. But wait, thereâs more! This little powerhouse doubles as a spice grinder. I accidentally mixed some cumin with my coffee beans once, and now Iâm starting a new trend: âSpicy Morning Joe.â (Patent pending.)Itâs so efficient, I might have overdone it on the first use. My coffee was so strong I could see sounds and hear colors. In short, this grinder is a game-changer for coffee lovers and aspiring spice alchemists. Just be prepared for the occasional âinterestingâ flavor experiment!

Work horse of my kitchen!
I bought this to replace an old one I had for like 8 years. This one seems a little lighter in weight but the cup capacity is the same. Itâs easy to use and you can blend 1/2 cup of beans in 20 seconds! The grinds depend on how coarse you want them, if you want them fine you grind it longer. Thereâs nothing better than fresh ground coffee!âï¸âï¸âï¸

does the job very well for a good price.
this is the third Capresso we’ve have had in the last 10-12 years. we grind coffee fresh every day, so it see a lot of use. I like that you can fill the bowl, grind, then turn it over and bang the lid on the counter to knock loose any grounds sticking to the bowl before you dump it in the machine. This latest one we just got is improved – bowl is a bit deeper than it was in previous models. Highly recommend.

The grinder has been working fine for months. Is the ground coffee coarser than store bought ground? Yes. Did it break? Not if don’t over work the motor like instructions warn you. Does it compact a bit to the bottom? Yes but what do you want for 30 bucks, just loosen when emptying. Start with whole beans, make ground, the grounds make great coffee and that’s why you would buy it.

This is replacement of my Capresso grinder which I had for years, exactly the same as this new one but white. I use it for spices only, not coffee. It grinds well and I can always grind to suit, depending on how fine I need the spice.

Lo utilizó diariamente para preparar café por las mañanas, hay que moler y luego agitar un poco y volver a moler para lograr que el grano quede mejor, de lo contrario quedarán fragmentos de café carentes de uniformidad.
