I was using recap lids before I found these and they were hit and miss, sometimes it would work and sometimes it didn’t and also didn’t seal well and they were hard to align, but since I got this kit, it has been miles easier, and works every time. And also the lids are very sticky so you get a good seal.

The Kit is a solid option. Itâs easy to use, fits well, and works great with my Pop+ machine. The coffee tastes just as good as using the original pods. A bit of a learning curve, but definitely worth it for the price and eco-friendly benefits!I made a review of their refill kits, and I’ve recorded a 5-7% loss in seals per batch. Not so much user error but the seals coming off the pod in the machine, etc.

Greatest invention for Nespresso Vertuo, reduce pod waste, use your own coffee and enjoy !!
This tool is a life changer and makes it really easy to load the coffee ground and seal the foil on the lid. I can prepare about 1 pod a minute compared to like 4 minutes without this tool. This makes a big difference when preparing a weeks worth of pods. The attached pictures show a step-by-step process.I would highly recommend this product if you want to:1. Reuse and reduce pod waste2. You want to run your own coffeeThe foils that came in the pack worked like a charm, they fit really well as they have a slightly larger diameter and there is more room for error. Also, this is a mess-free tool as the coffee grounds don’t fall out and don’t need to brush them in like some other vendors out there.The scoop is really nice for consistently dosing the pods and tamper them for best foam in the coffee. I don’t even bother with a scale anymore.I highly recommend this product from CAPMESSO !!

Lots of work but worth it
This is a bit of a read so I hope Iâve covered all your questions youâve thought about especially the ones you havenât.Truth is that you need to be prepared to do this all at once. The value for the amount of seals is okay considering this is my first time use. I had to separate all my original pods by color because I had intended on using two different bags of coffee and Iâm moody. Lol. Then there was the peeling the old foil, dumping of old coffee, and then the washing and drying all the pods. Next, I ground my coffee beans (do medium grind!) and filled the pods individually. You canât really tell at first when you fill it and tamp it down so i suggest itâs filled to the max tamped down before you apply your foil seal. At first, The size of the foil was frustrating because I expected it to fit exactly like the foil on the original. The key is to not be concerned about the overhang because the adhesiveâs job is to just keep the pod sealed and your coffee grounds not leak out. It is a little messy and again itâs work, but I like that I can keep reusing my pods. The adhesive works great for the intended purpose of this product so I feel itâs of good quality even though it is a lot thinner than the original foil. For first timers, I think the concept again is a lot of work but I feel itâs worth it if you make the time to do all of the things. If youâre too busy for prep, then I donât suggest this product and to use another product. I donât have space for a whole coffee bar setup to do this one at a time so this works for me. I now need to find a small basket to container to hold my clean pods and the seal kit to keep off my small countertop.Iâve only used 20 of the 100 seals and half a bag of coffee but it is not full strength for me compared to the prepackaged Nespresso so I now know I need to do a fine grind and really tamp it down in order to get the best taste from my coffee.

Easy to use. Works every time.
Easy to refill. I use 12 gms of extremely fine grind for the 7.7 ounce cups. Works great. Saving a ton of money for a few minutes work.

Great! Just one thing
This set is awesome. Works just as it should, easy, and quick to do. Keep in mind that you need to buy the Vertuo capsules FIRST, keep them, clean them out, etc. So yes, you initially need to fork over some money but you’ll save A TON of money in the long run. I just purchased a set of 30 to last me a month before having to refill these. Since my machine is just for me and sometimes I am in the mood for a good ol’ french press style, this amount is perfect.On to the ONE thing that kinda bugs me. Some people might not think this a big deal but I’ll throw it out there. I own a Vertuo Plus model. To put in the new capsule for another delicious cup, you press the lid up and the machine very conveniently disposes the capsule automatically into the back bucket. Since using these lids, that convenient mechanism doesn’t work. So I manually have to push the pod into the bucket. Takes two seconds and really no energy at all. Call me lazy or super extra, high maintenance, bougee… but the way I see it is that I put a lot of money into this machine as it is, so I want EVERY part of it to work the way it was designed! I think its because these foil lids are not as thick as the nespresso brand foil tops so the machine can’t pull up the pod and dispose of it automatically. Anyway, just my two cents. Defintely keeping the machine and doing this method with this kit. The very MINOR inconvenience isn’t enough for me to spend over HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS a year in the nespresso pods. GET THIS KIT!!

Quality.
Value for cost is reasonable. The aluminum is food grade and easy to insert on capsule. The illuminate is durable and does not leave residue in my Nespresso. I will order again.

Funciona muy bien, lo engorroso es limpiar las cÃ¡psulas, retirarles la tapa original y vaciarlas, al menos la 1a vez, yo las he reciclado 3 veces mÃ¡s antes de que el cÃ³digo inferior empiece a marcar error, las piezas fijan bien la cÃ¡psula y permiten apisonar bien el cafÃ© dentro de la misma, las tapas/stickers son fÃ¡ciles de colocar, aunque hace falta practicar para no fallar la parte del adhesivo… Muy recomendable para usar un buen cafÃ© de verdad en ese sistema de extracciÃ³n y con mejor precio por cÃ¡psula

Been using this kit since Oct 2024. First of this type I tried and it is awesome! There is a process to getting it to work perfectly every time – I have attached the vid of what I do, it never disappoints when I do this for a long coffee ( my fav). I have used so many different coffee blends in this and they have all come out awesome – Tim Hortons winter blend is fantastic – better than in store! I still order from the Nespresso store but the cost has gone up and being in Newfoundland the distribution is not as quick in some city center – Not Nespresso’s fault supply chain is always an issue for this province. By using these foils and my own beans I am able to keep my ridiculous coffee addiction going with out breaking the bank! Use this process and it will not leak, no weak coffee and no messing up your machine!
