For Flavored Coffee Buffs, This Is About As Good As It Gets!
Let me start by saying that I have not normally gone far out of my way to get flavored coffee. I love the taste of good coffee either black or with cream. Now and then, though, I do like a change of pace and then I generally go for chocolate flavored coffee. I used to live in Oregon, an area served by Safeway, and their house brand chocolate flavored coffee was excellent. Now that I’m in Ohio I hadn’t found a good substitute until I stumbled on Godiva’s Chocolate Truffle Coffee, which is just as good. Mysteriously, I can’t find it via Amazon or elsewhere online for much less than $14 for 10 oz., which is ridiculous since I can buy it from my local Giant Eagle grocery store for about $8 or $9 for 12 oz.!I’ve ordered Cameron’s Woods and Water a few times and find it to be a superior coffee at a great price, so I respect the brand. They know how to roast coffee. I was shopping for coffee on Amazon and noticed the Cameron’s also makes a flavored coffee called Chocolate Caramel Brownie. Intrigued, I ordered it. And the price was right, too: $21.33 for 3 x 12 oz. bags, which makes it actually a bit less expensive than the Woods and Water, which is $21 for 32 oz. (the price varies with sales). It arrived quickly even though it came cheapest way (gotta love Amazon for their swift deliveries!). I brewed a cup immediately, sat down in my favorite chair, and sipped it black. No sugar or cream. It was great. I also sensed it would stand up to being brewed strong, so I have been making it strong. As one of the other reviewers noted, it’s also good cold. Just today I made a tall one, went away for a few hours after finishing half, and tasted the other half when I got back. Still good!In summary, try this coffee if you like chocolate flavored coffee. It does have caramel undertones, so take that into account. It does make it taste a bit richer. I switch back and forth between this and the Godiva Chocolate Truffle when I want a change of pace from plain coffee, which–with the discovery of the Godiva and Cameron’s coffees–is more frequent now.

    taste date up date
Actually a very nice coffee. It has a definitley noticable smoky flavor and I think it could grow on a person but a little too strong a flavor for me at this time. I’m just getting started trying different coffees. This was my first attempt beyond the commercial Folgers, Maxwell coffees and am trying to expand my horizons. Will be trying several more to decide on a favorite. The price was better than the otheres I looked at, hence the order for my first one.update: I reordered this product in the last week of july and received it a couple of days later. PROBLEM :It was dated “best sold by June 24” and I Received it in August 24. Disappointing. Will probobly not order this from Amazon again. It needs better quality control by Amazon.

Consistent Quality and Yummy Chocolate Raspberry Flavor
I have used many grocery store and internet sources for my flavored coffee. I find that the suppliers like to change up flavors from time to time. But, I don’t want to change flavors. I want chocolate. And I want Raspberry. When my last supplier (an Internet shop in NJ) discontinued my beloved flavor of coffee. I picked four brands from Amazon. After a few months of tasting, it was clear that my household preferred Cameron’s. I have used it for about a year now and it is my hope that it will remain on the shelf of Jeff’s store for the long haul.I like Maxwell House regular grind for my base coffee. I mix 4 scoops of the MH to 1 scoop of the Cameron’s flavored coffee to brew in my vintage glass carafe on my stove top.I prefer to use distilled water.I use two types of filters. I place a round filter on top of the screen and top it with a wrap filter that I put 5 scoops of coffee in.Yes, I know Mr Coffee or the Pods are probably just as good and less trouble. But, I am old school. My Mother taught me to time the process until the brew starts (water starts to color) and then double that, and then use the product of the equation to set the timer. Yes, I have one that winds up and goes ding, but I usually set the stove’s electronic timer. Of course, I use a very low flame.Oddly, my two glass carafes brew at different rates (probably made by different manufacturers). One pot takes only 22 minutes until I need to turn off the fire and put the brew in the pump thermos. The other glass pot takes almost 30 minutes. Finally, I look at color of the brewed coffee to make sure it is very dark, but still translucent. If the coffee boils, start over. Don’t serve bad brew to your company.Of note, the Maxwell House regular grind has changed over the years and requires a little longer to brew. I’m not sure what’s up with that.

An undrinkable, spoiled, misleadingly marketed coffee that pretends to be fresh by infusing artificial toffee and hazelnut flavours. Additionally, the expiry date is 1 month from delivery date, which makes the coffee stale. Try this at your own peril.
