Bought the Camerons Decaf Breakfast blend several times before and it was ok. This time it came in the generic bag with an Amazon label over the bag label so it was difficult to tell what I got.What was in the bag was not light Roast and not enjoyable coffee but over roasted and bitter.

Great Taste
I love how smooth the flavor is. It doesnât leave that aftertaste like some coffee leave. I need to drink decaf due to Afib and so far this is the one I like the most.

City roast (medium)
Really disappointed that the roast is medium and not light. Similar to a city roast. Nothing like the description. More bitter and acidic.

not light roast at all, very different from their regular Breakfast Blend
I like Cameron’s regular Breakfast Blend light roast whole beans–nice flavor, maybe a medium-light roast. So I tried their decaf version hoping for something even close to similar–no joy. The product I got is almost a French roast, and oily. Despite that, it doesn’t taste much like a French roast (or really much of anything), which I like sometimes. I guess with a 4lb bag of beans, I have a lot of beans to try different brewing temps and grind sizes to see if I can get more flavor out of it. May try a finer grind.

Can’t go wrong with Camerons
I’ve tried several of the Cameron’s roasts and flavor. Never disappointed. Smooth, never sharp or bitter.
