Great size and can operate with one hand
Keeps contents cold for a good amount of time and is easy to operate with one hand for ease of use. I did have an issue with spilling but that was my fault cause I sat down with the bottle still in the open position and it spilled some water before I realized what happened. The open loop makes it easy to attach a carabiner to it and attach to my messenger bag for hands free transport. Overall great item and would buy again.

SURPRISINGLY NOT LEAK PROOF!
BUYER BEWARE! My husband and I were very surprised to learn that Camelbak put out a product with poor quality. They have always sold top of the line containers. The lid on this model does not seal completely and they also leak from the push button on the back. Somehow liquid gets in there. We have had many leaks while using them. Not every time but often enough that they can’t be trusted. We are terribly disappointed and will not buy this product again. Unfortunately we could not return the mugs, otherwise we would. Camelbak will need to restore our confidence before we purchase from them again.

Keeps my drinks hot and looks pretty. It doesn’t leak when sealed but somehow there are drips of my drink down the back side of the cup after I drink. Not a bad cup though

Love the new design
I replaced my 7 year old camelbak coffee cup with this one only because the chipped paint started to annoy me with never a failure. This new 20 oz cup is all dishwasher safe and the angle of the drink area is better. Maybe this one will last me ten years or more. With the sturdy finish I donât think this paint will chip

Poor design
I bought two and can confirm what others have noted, it does not leak but there is a channel around the opening that allows liquid to collect. I have found if you hold the mug almost straight upside down and let it close, it all pours into your mouth rather than settling in that channel. That, of course is unacceptable for hot liquids. There is another thing you have to be careful, not allowing the locking tab to slide over so it locks partially open. I give this 2 stars because it is larger and as sturdy as my last version you see in the picture. I bought two of those 7 years ago. I use these for my post-ride recovery drink and wanted the larger mug to allow more room for shaking. I know it seals as I have to violently shake to mix my drink (and now know to check the locking tab!). They work ok for my cold drink needs as long as I remember to hold upside down when I let the sealing ring close.
