Great coffee!
I make espresso at home. I’ve been cutting down on my caffeine, though, so I use mostly big box store decaf beans; which makes it a bit less tasty.Mixing in some of these Umbria beans (three parts decaf with one part Umbria) makes the mix amazing.Just stellar and arrived fast too.

Delicious whole bean coffee
I recently bought this pack of beans, and it’s become my favorite morning brew. The aroma is rich, and the flavor is bold and satisfying. The beans arrived fresh and well-packaged. These beans are perfect for those who prefer a milder and smoother coffee experience. If you want a delicious and easy-to-make coffee, I highly recommend trying them.

Taste good but slightly bitter
Good decaf but slightly bitter may be due to chemical methods of decaffeinated the beans, but reasonably acceptable.
Michael Merola –
Smooth coffee flavor, not bitter or weak.
I bought umbrea because itâs chesper than the local stores. Best coffee out there in my opinion as well as a few of my coffee loving friends.

Great Dark Roast
I’m a coffee snob and by George Howell locally. This dark roast is a close 2nd to what I typically buy.

No roasting date given, Price increase again
This is my fourth bag of Bizzarri blend from Cafe Umbria. The first was purchased at their Queen Anne outlet just off Mercer. There was no roasting date, but I enjoyed it more than thier “espresso” blend by far. So I placed a subscription order starting last November when the price was $13 for a 12 oz bag of beans. Now the price has increased steadily to $15 for a 12 oz bag. I will not make future purchases through Amazon. Seattle has too many other options at that price point with better quality. They also show the roasting date. Only Starbucks hides their roasting date as well with the same “best by date”. Since the prices for green beans for the at home roaster have not increased over the last six months, it is apparent that Cafe Umbria is following the profit gouging trend of other roasters who don’t really consider customer loyalty. I will be switching back to Vivace and Fonte. At least when I order by mail, I can see the roasting date.

I had a cup of this in Seattle airport and enjoyed it very much. I could not find it anywhere to buy at a grocery store in Portland where I was staying. Not a Fred Myers , Trader Joeâs, Safeway.Luckily I found it on Amazon

Itâs nice to find a full bodied decaf that tastes as good as the real thing. Very happy with this purchase.
