If your carafe is not centered it will error.
I rarely recommend itemsâ¦ This thing is amazing. Thoughtfully built.

Refurbished but doesnât work
The coffee maker doesnât heat the coffee past 115Â°. Used 2 independent thermometers and both showed that temperature even though the manual said it will heat to 205Â°. Itâs junk and way overpriced.

Stopped working after 6 months
Loved the sleek design and look of the machine. Very disappointed in the quality of the product as it stopped working after just 6 months! For the price, it is very frustrating.

Did not come with original packaging, manual or scoop but everything else was new and works perfect. You can find the manual online and who needs a scoop?

Very pretty but thatâs it
This is a beautiful coffee machine; I was disappointed that the coffee never reached the temperature of 205. The coffee was always a little bit warmer than lukewarm. Furthermore I initiated a return, Amazon picked up my return and I have to wait three weeks to receive my refund.The machine is almost $300 with tax. If you like hot coffee and appreciate a prompt return, this is not for you

Easy to Use, Easy to Clean. TEEEENY TIIIINY Carafe.
This would be the most perfect coffee maker on earth if it had two simple features: 1. A carafe that made more than 3 cups; and 2. A burner to keep that bigger carafe hot a little longer.What’s good: It’s so easy to use. I love the app. I love that I can plan a week in advance. I love that I can set weekends to brew at different times. I love that it is easy to clean and that it sits sideways instead of jutting out and taking up a whole counter. It’s nice to look at. I love that it’s FAST, like really fast. I love that it makes good coffee.What’s bad: The carafe is tiny. It says it’s ten cups. It’s not. It’s about three to four regular cups. We previously owned a twelve cup coffee maker and this is maybe 1/3 of that. I wouldn’t even mind so much if I could buy a bigger carafe, but the machine cannot make more than this amount. On weekends, we end up brewing three pots for two people. Also, there’s no burner. So you can’t reheat coffee that’s been sitting a bit. Don’t get me wrong, this carafe keeps the coffee hot for a few hours, which is impressive, but still, it’s not quite hot enough for a long enough time period. Another small issue is that when you use the reusable filter, the last cup is filled with fine silt that is painfully gross tasting and bitter. This goes away if you use #4 cone filters, so it’s not the worst problem to have, but I would prefer to waste a little less. Especially when I have to make 3 pots at a time.Such a shame. If they made a few improvements, I’d say it’s the best thing anyone has ever manufactured.
