COMPATIBLE TO USE WITH YOUR FLAT SHAPE LID – 5 PARTS: Cross, Filter and Spiral Plates, 7.00” Plunger Rod with Small Closed Nut and Solid SS Top Flat Knob – and NO LID – Use your own lid to repair your loyal French press; Fits a 3.75″ wide carafe with your FLAT lid perfectly and will do a great job filtering your coffee.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE – Take apart your old plunger and thread the new rod into the hole on your flat lid, attach the flat solid knob to the top. Next, at the other end of the rod, start the finely threaded nut with round closed top facing the lid – if it gets “cross threaded” it could strip, so try to line it up correctly.
ADD YOUR 3PC FILTER SEET – Spiral plate first (closest to the top), mesh filter in middle and cross plate below, poke the stem of the cross plate up through the mesh and spiral plates and screw the end of the rod into the internally threaded stem. Turn the closed nut to rest on your spiral plate. Good as new!
GOOD QUALITY MATERIALS – 304 GRADE Stainless Steel (SS) PLUNGER ROD with closed nut, cross plate with internal threaded stem, spiral plate, one 18/8 SS wire mesh filter with a SS plunging knob; Try Cafe Crush Club’s 34oz Replacement Glass – it’s FIRE TOUGHENED with measures and our SS pour over filter with glass measure is deeply discounted and can be used on your French press carafe perfectly. Also Filter Parts, Cross, Filter and Spiral plate assemblies; and awesome cold brewing coffee gear.
USE CASE – 7.00” rod for use with YOUR FLAT lid, like BODUM’s flat top Eileen, Brazil with flat lid, Kenya, STARBUCK’s, BIALETTI’s, MIRO, MENU, STERLING PRO’s – GLASS or STEEL carafes in fact most FLAT lidded brands if they are 1 Liter, “8-Espresso Cup” 32|34oz French Press coffee makers. Not OEM Bodum, Compatibly Manufactured by Cafe Crush Club to use with your FLAT lid 1 Liter French Press. (OEM-Original Equipment Manufactured) DOME LID? Find our item B08CBTYKXX with a 7.75″ Rod to work for YOUR press.
USA OWNED and SERVICED – “Wonderful Product … Retailer couldn’t not have been more helpful.” CUSTOMER HAPPINESS IS OUR MOST IMPORTANT VALUE.”Great Product! I bought this for my Starbucks 1 liter French press and am so happy with what I received. It fits perfectly (see photos), looks even sharper than the original setup that came with the French press, and was super easy to install.”
REPAIR IT – KEEP IT OUT OF THE LANDFILL – Do yourself a favor and buy this replacement part instead of buying a whole new container. “I am happy that I did and look forward to continuing to use my French press for many years to come.”
Customers say
Customers find the French press filter works well, particularly with the 8-cup Starbucks stainless model, and appreciate that it’s a perfect fit for their Mueller 34oz press. The product receives positive feedback for its handsome design, stainless steel construction, and good price point. While the materials are high quality, some customers note that the metal pieces are thin.

A great solution
My old Bodum French Press witha dome lid was a terrible design. It had a plastic strainer that attached below the filter assembly. The plastic cracked with age and was useless, leaving the rod too short to press the grounds. I was thrilled to find this solution, which works perfectly. My only caveat is that the cross plate, spiral plate and filter appear to be made of thinner gauge metal than the original parts. I’m using the original parts, which threaded perfectly onto the rod, and saving the ones that came with this replacement as a back-up.

Perfect replacement
I have an old 2003 Starbucks Barista 32oz Insulated French Press Stainless Steel Coffee Maker that I love. However, the screen wasnât doing the job anymore, and the top plastic knob broke off. Since I couldnât find any OEM parts, I decided to give this a try. Itâs a perfect replacement, fits great and I have to say it works better than the original. It also comes apart for easy cleaning, which the original didnât, and no plastic parts. Canât beat that! I highly recommend this product.

Perfect size for the Mueller 34oz french press
Bought the flat top variant to replace a worn-out spiral plate screw on my 34oz french press. Size is identical to the original, materials are high quality. Happy to be able to enjoy my coffee again!Only minor downside is this only ships with a single filter screen (the Mueller ships with two). I’m using the original screens for now and kept the new one for a spare.

Works with their beaker.
I originally thought that I could get away with replacing only the beaker. I was not so lucky as the original plunger was designed for the plastic beaker that had cracked. So, I ordered this item, which naturally works well with the new beaker.

Ill fitting parts
The plunger top would not thread onto the new rod. I was not able to use the rod & top. Had to use the old one that came with the original press. The only thing that fit was the cross plate, spiral plate & mesh filter unit. Disappointing purchase!

Great replacement part
The plunger rod on that came with my French press eventually stripped out due to taking it apart to clean it. This is a great find, I did not have to replace the whole pot to just get a new plunger.

Not like original
Unfortunately, fairly disappointed. It came with a single thin screen, and the bottom was much thinner metal than the original Mueller
Elizabeth –
The plunger on my press is solid, well made, but required a repair. All I really needed to repair it was a flat head Chicago screw of the right size, but that was hard to find. So I replaced the entire plunger unit with this one, which was described as good quality. It’s not.

Its great for what is designed for.
Kathie Weiss-Lefebvre –
Bought this to replace one for a Bialetti 8-ounce carafe that got lost during several changes of address. Fits perfectly, and has a metal rather than plastic lid and top knob. Exactly what I was looking for. Arrives brilliantly and minimally packaged, with tips for improving one’s French press coffee-making.

This arrived quickly but was missing the rod that everything attaches to. The bottom part that holds the filter on was dented and looked like it had been used and/or was rusted. Overall very poor quality. I returned it the same day. I would not recommend this
