Simple grinder that works well
It grinds coffee beans a little better and more consistent than my hand cranked Hario grinder. It has a positive lock on the bowl when it is in place.Can’t say anything for longevity as I have only been using it a few weeks. I have had no problems with it. I only put whole beans that have been fresh roasted, or within a few weeks of, and would be wary of putting flavored beans through due to the build up from the added oils.The numbers are a built in timer, not a grind setting. The grind setting is done manually via twisting the chamber. I could personally do without the timer and just have an in/off switch. It seems like the added electronics are a likely point of failure without much benefit. Others will probably like the timer.The only other thing I think is worth noting, since they advertised to it, is the anti static claim. IF it indeed has some antistatic construction, then it just have been HORRIBLE before because there is still plenty of static making it “fun” to wipe down if you are trying to get it entirely clean. Not a huge deal for me as it isn’t too bad.If what you are looking for is a simple, zero frills grinder, that works well, this is for you.
