The Fastest Home Coffee Makers in America, now with an updated design. Speed Brew Coffee Makers can brew 10 cups of coffee in about 4 minutes because they store hot water in a stainless steel commercial grade tank allowing them to brew coffee on demand. They’re always on your counter, always plugged in and always ready to brew the perfect cup of coffee.
Taller funnel – Our funnel is engineered to accommodate BUNN filters which are ¼ Inch taller than other filters. This unique design allows for the quick flow of water and prevents overflow of coffee grounds.
Tank – Compared to the other home coffee makers that “burp” water over your coffee grounds as it boils, our tank keeps 70 oz of water at an instantly brew-ready temperature
Temperature – Competitor systems can exceed the recommended standard of 200ºF, resulting in a burnt flavor. Thanks to the temperature regulated tank, the speed brew delivers a consistently ideal brewed pot of coffee.
Speed brew is the only home coffee maker designed, engineered, and manufactured with the same commercial practices as the BUNN equipment trusted by cafes and restaurants worldwide. The BUNN Speed Brew uses an internal commercial grade stainless steel hot water tank that keeps 70oz of water always hot so you can quickly brew at the flip of a lid.
BUNN BREWS DIFFERENTLY – The BUNN Speed Brew uses an internal commercial grade stainless steel hot water tank that keeps 70oz of water always hot so you can quickly brew at the flip of a lid.
SIMPLE TO USE – Pour-in bowl features a water level indicator to show you how much water has been added.
MATTE BLACK FINISH with high-polished stainless-steel backsplash and top-band accent, DESIGNED AND ASSEMBLED in the USA.
VACUUM-INSULATED, double walled thermal carafe maintains ideal serving temperature for 2+ hours
CAFÉ TASTE AT HOME – Commercial style multi-stream sprayhead evenly showers hot water over the coffee grounds to maximize the flavor of your coffee similar to your favorite café.
BREW A TRAVEL MUG OR A CARAFE – Brews 20oz to fill a travel mug in 2 minutes, or a full 50oz carafe in 4 minutes. TALLER FUNNEL – Our funnel is engineered to accommodate BUNN filters which are ¼” taller than other filters. This unique design allows for the quick flow of water and prevents overflow of coffee grounds.
Customers say
Customers appreciate the coffee maker’s taste, brewing speed, and ease of use. They find it makes good coffee without burnt or cooked-down flavors, and it delivers hot, delicious cups quickly. Many describe it as simple to set up and use, making it easy for quick tea or hot chocolate. However, opinions vary on the coffee temperature, value for money, build quality, how well it works, and water leakage.

Easy and just good coffee.
No bells and whistles, no special settings. No timers, adjustment for brew. Just put in water, put coffee in the filter and close the top. No fuss, just good and fast coffee. The carafe does a good job keeping it warm.

Best coffee maker we better had. We use for tea too.
This makes coffee in about 4 minutes fast. It uses the larger Bunn filters which prevent any grounds overflow. You can make a pot of hot water just as fast for tea. The water coming out is already hot so there’s no steam and spray associated with adding water to a traditional type of coffee maker. We also love the carafe that comes with this model it is easy to use it doesn’t drip and easy to clean as once the top is off it has a large opening or cleaning. Bunn offers a free replacement spray head and a descaling tool should you need them. Also Bunn has other replacement parts such as the funnel that normally holds the coffee grounds and you can also get an additional carafe should you want to have them for just hot water and tea like we do.

Good Coffee At Last
Weâve had this for several months now and itâs been a great addition for good coffee. Quick to brew a pot of coffee, what I love most is the thermal carafe. Coffee stays hot for hours without âcookingâ it on a heating element. No burnt taste, no cooked down stronger brew after sitting on heat. The water is preheated so it brews quickly.Other reviews say itâs noisy heating the waterâ¦.you have to be right on top of it to even hear the water heating! Not sure why anyone complains about that since a regular coffeemaker is much noisier. You want to order the Bunn filters. You donât have to, of course. Regular filters will work. But because this puts out a lot of water quickly, you will find regular filters are shorter and the grounds sometimes overflow into your pot. Bunn filters are an inch taller and so worth it.

An excellent product *if* you understand how to use it
We made the switch from a standard drip coffee maker to this home-use Bunn based specifically on its unique design and our specific needs. We also have pour-over, french press, a double boiler espresso machine and a tea kettle – but I wanted something for a very specific use. I hate the scaleded flavor of coffee that has been sitting on a boiler plate hours after brewing. I tried thermal carafes and none held the coffee hot enough for me to continually pour half a cup throughout my work day. I drink 20-40 ounces of coffee a day over a 5-7 hour time frame. This brewer allows me to brew as little as 20 ounces and the carafe keeps it almost hot for up to 2 hours. This affords me an excuse to get up from my desk and make fresh coffee later in the morning rather than a full pot first thing in the a.m. The speed of brewing is not only amazing and time saving (especially when I have breakfast or brunch guests and we’re ready for refills) but it also means the coffee is more akin to pour over – rapid brewing is a better brewing method. Our first unit arrived damaged with the door/lid for the water receptacle not hinged properly. It didn’t seat correctly and both looked like garbage as well as being worrisome that if it became any looser, it would affect the mechanism that triggers brewing. Amazon exchange was incredibly easy – they shipped a replacement and gave me return shipping free to send the damaged unit back. The second unit arrived almost perfect – that little lid is still slightly askew but far better than the first unit and so we went with it. No regrets – we love this thing and I love not reheating burnt coffee over and over in the microwave. I see a lot of negative reviews here and it seems people have not done their research to understand that this is not a traditional drip coffee pot. For our purposes, it’s better – but I can see where maybe it’s not for everyone. If you’re willing to learn a new method and you actually enjoy fresh coffee, this is a great coffee maker.

I like it, but I’m kind of disappointed at the same time
I’m retired Navy. I’ve used Bunn coffee makers my entire adult life, sometimes under arduous conditions. Bunns are the one coffee maker you could always count on to make your morning cup of sludge. I thought about getting one of the office style professional coffee makers, but those are fairly expensive, so I decided to take a chance with one of their home models. Previously, we’d been using a Keurig (which are the coffee industry’s way of getting coffee to $50/pound…), and before that, a Cuisinart (great coffee machine).First, if you’re looking for any kind of lights, clock, or anything to give you an indication that the unit is energized, all you have is a very small blue LED on the power switch, located at the bottom right rear of the brewer (as you’re facing it). Unfortunately, you can’t really see it unless you have your nose at counter height and are looking directly at it from the side. Otherwise, you got nothin’.Second, it makes coffee. You add coffee like a Bunn coffee maker, by placing a couple of scoops of your favorite grind (Community for us) into the filter, add water through the top, and close the lid. Note that we leave ours ON all the time (per Bunn’s recommendation), otherwise you’re waiting for the tank to heat. Once the lid is dropped, you’ll have coffee in about five minutes. When it starts to sound like an airplane taking off, you’ll know the coffee’s ready. You do have to bend down to see if any coffee is still being dripped into the carafe.Third: A recommendation. Use original Bunn coffee filters. Recent studies have shown that paper filters remove some harmful oils from coffee during brewing, which can have heart-protective benefits. The reason for the Bunn filters is that the Bunn brew funnel is a bit taller than other coffee makers and Bunn filters are about 1/4 taller than the industry standard, so shorter filters may (will) leak coffee grounds inside the funnel. The Bunn filters prevent this (they’re available here on the ‘zon and at Wally’s place). In use, the Bunn is quiet, fairly quick, and brews a decent cuppa. One thing I miss is the heat plate of the professional Bunns. The steel carafe is great and it does work to keep your coffee warm for a couple of hours, but it doesn’t give you the same feedback as the heat plate when a drop falls and you hear it sizzle on the burner. So why did we buy this? Both my wife and I have fond memories of the Bunn pro coffee makers. The pro Bunns are all about stainless steel, glass, and being heavy duty weapons of caffeine destruction. This countertop model is, in a word, lightweight. The only thing remotely heavy duty about it is the carafe, and that’s only the steel part. The plastic handle is still pretty lightweight. One thing about the number of cups: Bunn advertises this as a ’10-cup’ coffee maker. That’s if you count a ‘cup’ as about five ounces. I drink my coffee from a pretty typical 12-ounce cup and I get just under five cups from a pot.We brew two, and sometimes three, pots a day, and I have no doubt that this Bunn will last us at least five years, if not longer. It does work well, but it just doesn’t have the ‘human factors’ of its MIL-SPEC cousins. Still, if you’re in the market for a nice-looking, light duty coffee maker that makes a decent cup of coffee, you can do a LOT worse.Recommended.

This was suppose to be a xmas gift for my husband…. The one time Amazon didn’t place this box inside an Amazon Box, so surprise “Merry Christmas” (husband received delivery) you get a new coffee machine to replace that old dripping Cuisinart we had since the ice age…Regardless – He and I love this brewer! Its clean, slick, simple, straightforward and it brews hot, cafe quality coffee quickly! We use a great local roaster’s coffee and we are living the cafe life every morning…. Fancy coffee machines look great on the counter/ make great status symbols but if just desire simple use and great coffee as more your style….don’t hesitate, so far its the best brewer we’ve ever had.

La ventaja del equipo es que se puede usar constantemente y además que la jarra termo puede guardar el cafe y no se enfria y te puede durar 2 horas sin que pierda su temperatura.

If you love precision, this machine is not for you. A few things you should know:1. There’s no measuring lines in the carafe to measure how much liquid is in it. It’s a steel carafe, so that makes total sense. When filling the water reservoir with the carafe, I usually have to either add a bit more water or dump out extra water to get to the desired fill line. Lots of trips to the sink. After a few weeks of using it daily, I got a feel for how much brewed coffee is left in the pot by weight.2. The machine is constantly on. To brew coffee, I fill the water reservoir and close the water reservoir lid. Once the lid closes, it brews, and there’s no stopping the brews until its done. It happens fast too! Within 3 seconds the coffee is pouring. God gorbid I accidently close the lid before the carafe is underneath it.3. Since the machine is constantly on, the water in the tank is being heated and its evaporating. During weekdays I add the same amount of water with the carafe (I can’t be precise though, so I eyeball it and go by the weight feeling) to the 8-cup mark. But on one occasion I left for the weekend, forgetting to shut this machine off, and on Monday it took double the water to make up for the evaporated water. Lesson learned: Always turn it off before heading out for more than a couple days.Other than that, it’s so quick to brew and quiet. I love it, but I can see how some precision lovers wouldn’t like it at all.
