A great coffee, meant to be used as part of the Bulletproof eating plan….
You know, I really love the other reviewers who smash a product when not being used as intended; or worse yet not having used it at all. Don’t let them fool you, this is a great product and it is meant to be used as part of the Bulletproof (BP) plan. I’ve been making the BP coffee now for about 3 weeks. In short, you brew it, pour it into a blender, combine grass fed butter and their MCT oil, and enjoy! Wow this stuff is delicious, and satisfying.You see, heading into this change, I was an overworked business owner who was not able to keep up with taking care of myself. I had fallen back into the bad habit of not making good decisions about my nutritional needs. I was drinking coffee in the morning with sugary creamers. By the time I was out the door my heart was literally pounding out of my chest, my blood pressure was too high, and I was gripped with anxiety. Combine that with the fact that typical coffees have the danger of being contaminated with mold toxins and you have an elevated flight or fight response (toxins in your diet cause your sympathetic nervous system to go into defense mode). I really felt like I was 2 steps away from a heart attack.I just took my blood pressure after a cup of really strong coffee, it was 127/86. Incredible, my bottom number has not been below 90 in 10 years, AND after a cup of coffee! I am using this coffee in conjunction with the BP eating plan. This plan stresses the elimination of sugars, bad grains, bad oils, and toxins. You elevate your intake of quality proteins, good fats, and quality vegetables. You do all this while integrating intermittent fasting and light exercise.If you ACTUALLY READ his book, David Asprey, breaks down all the details for you in a straightforward manner. What he says makes a lot of sense, and he backs it up with plenty of reference and personal experience. The guy spent hundreds of thousands of his own money to figure out what works and what does not. Much of what he says goes against convention, but don’t let that discourage you either. I have been a student of diet for nearly 20 years, and many of the ‘commonly accepted’ so called ‘facts’ about our diet are meant to serve a food and pharmacology industry that is more concerned with it’s own profits as opposed to our health. Most of what the author says aligns with new research as well as the improving organic food supply chain.If you are a critic, I challenge you to read the book and try the eating plan! How can you constructively criticize something you have not tried; or worse yet tried only one component and then turn around and attempt to discourage others with only a few lines of meaningless criticisms?If you are reading this and you are on the fence about trying this eating plan, I say: give it a shot! for less than 100 bucks you can download the book, and while you are reading the book, order the coffee and MCT oil kit. Get your grass fed butter and take your first steps. I am so glad I did! In the short time I have been lightly following the eating plan, my blood pressure is back down to normal, I have lost about 8 lbs., my anxiety is gone, and I have a noticeable improvement mental clarity.Thanks to Dave Asprey for his hard work and his book!

TASTES WONDERFUL
My husband is a daily coffee drinker, but was “sentenced” by his doctor to drink only decaf coffee because of high blood pressure. He tried several and hated them all. He LOVES this Bulletproof decaf coffee. It comes already ground or in beans. He buys the beans and grinds them himself in a little electric grinder because of the wonderful fresh taste. We had no idea that decaffeination is usually done with chemicals!!! Well we know now, and this coffee is NOT decaffeinated with chemicals. Bulletproof decaf coffee tastes like coffee, not chemicals. No weird taste or aftertaste. Funny, because our friends don’t even know they are drinking decaf. Thank you, Bulletproof!

Where has this been all my life!
This has been the best tasting coffee for my espresso machine. After I went through a lot of research and then purchasing dozens and dozens of “the best coffees”….I ended up disappointed in the taste. I was begining to think it was my espresso machine or my lack of barista skills. After bloodwork my doctor told me that we have high mold levels. One thing bad to contain mold is coffee!!! I had no idea, I have been an avid coffee drinker since high-school….oops! He told us about this brand and it has been a game changer. It’s our favorite coffee ever. I no longer desire to get coffees when I am out, I now prefer this over everything! Try it, you won’t be disappointed:)
