Best value for your money. Get this one!
I love this thing. I have had no issues with it at all and I have been using it for several weeks. I have ground almost 4 pounds of coffee with it, without issue. For the price, I am extremely pleased.

No Static Cling
This is an excellent coffee grinder at an excellent price. For those who are having problems with static cling and messes with the ground coffee: just add a few drops of water to the coffee beans in the grinder before grinding – there will be no static and the ground coffee will slide evenly out of the container with no mess. I learned this trick from the PBS series “America’s Test Kitchen”.

What a Mess……..
I’ve had coffee grinders before, but not one like this with the closing lid on top of the delivery bin. With the lid closed, static makes the grounds cling to the top of the bin and sides. Once the bin is open, or it hits a finger or something else…… like a bomb…… grounds go EVERYWHERE. I’m sure everyone has seen how glitter gets everywhere…. this has to be the absolute second place to it, because fresh coffee grounds to every freaken where….Other than the clean up, it works great…… but the clean up almost make it not worth it, and I’m seriously contemplating buying a coffee grinder that is a top load and deliver grinder. Not one with a delivery bin.Edit: after using it for less than 3 months, it’s stopped grinding. Just no longer working.

Almost 5 Starsâ¦
Works great, at a great price. The only drawbacks involve the drawer for the ground coffee: it is made of plastic that generates a lot of static electricity. That makes the grounds difficult to contain. No matter how carefully you pour them into the basket, you always end up with some sticking to the counter, and your hand. The hinges on the top also break easily, which is annoying.

Good grinder, good deal
An excellent upgrade from my disc grinder. Uniform grind with very little dust, easy operation–once you find the right setting for your brew, you’re good to go. Recco.

Beats any other I’ve used
I used to swear by a different model. But those are getting harder to get, and the last two I bought had trouble with the container where the beans go in (the hopper) getting broken. I had a more expensive one (slightly less than this one) that had a good reputation. That one broke the third time I cleaned it with the grinding blades (they were removable for cleaning) not seating right, then getting stuck inside where I couldn’t get them out. Both of those models also had the problem of the ground coffee shooting out the side instead of downward. I tend to grind a fair bit each time I grind, then store it. By shooting out the side of an opening, they tended to get clogged faster when grinding oily beans. It was also hard to clean those out since gravity wasn’t any help.I got this Brim and it’s marvelous! It’s quieter than the other two (still a little noisy). The grounds come out downward instead of horizontally, so they fall out much easier than the others I used. That also makes it easier to clean out, which is good since this one is a little more crowded trying to get to itThe one and only thing I didn’t care for is the coffee drawer (the part that catches the grounds).First of all, it’s plastic. Plastic tends to get staticky, which causes grounds to scatter sometimes. That’s not unusual, though, for plastic drawers. This one was no worse than the others.Secondly, I didn’t really care for the fact that the lid was hinged. If you’re going to open it and scoop out, that’s one thing. It probably works great that way. But I tend to grind a lot and store it in the freezer, so I dump the contents into a container. Between the static on the lid and that inside the container, I got more than I wanted on the counter. But about the 5th or 6th time, one of the hinges broke on the lid. I decided I like the removable lid much better, so I broke the other hinge myself (one piece was in the way getting it back on each time before I broke it). And now the drawer is exactly the way I want it (except it’s still plastic).Would I buy this again? Based on the use I’ve gotten out of it so far, you bet I would! I haven’t had it a long time, just a few weeks. But if durability is as good as it appears so far, I think I’m going to be using this one for a long time.

Excellent coffee grinder
I use this coffee grinder every day. It does a wonderful job grinding my coffee beans to the texture I need to brew a tasty cup of coffee. To me, while it’s loud, it’s not overly loud considering it’s grinding coffee beans. I love that you’re able to select how fine or course you want the finished product to be.
