Works Great
This adapter allows the coffeemaker to emulate pour over. Works perfectly with my V60. Allows me to make my single cup morning coffee with less trouble than doing a pour over manually.

This piece really completes the Breville precision coffee maker. Itâs easy to use and the quality of the pour over coffee is very smooth and delicious.

Super cool to see a quality appliance MFG thinking AND making something like this.
Only slightly better then what you can already get out of this machine. However it is nice to use when you just don’t want to play with your coffee in the morning.I still think a V60 and an electric kettle yields better results, but sometimes I just can’t be bothered with it. Then this rather expensive toy makes me happy I bought it.However, if you go put this money towards a grinder, if you can’t tell the difference when your coffee was brewed with 212 or 208 degree water. Then play with your grind and the Precision Brewer’s settings before you buy this. You might love coffee, but feel that this makes no difference. I barely can tell so I think that the value add isn’t very high.On the other hand it’s companies like Breville taking the risk on tooling and producing a product like this that makes me happy I bought it. Companies don’t just make something en masse and distribute it because they think it is cool.

The pour over adapter for the Precision Coffee Maker works as expected. It is a nice way to upgrade the pour over experience, and the coffee emerges at perfect temperature. Well done.

Good idea in theory but…
Love a good pour over and love my Breville Precision Brew so thought this kit was the perfect add on. I was wrong. To be fair, I’ve only had the kit for about a week but I was determined to make this work so yes I went right down the rabbit hole, head first, in my fuzzy slippers and bathrobe. I adjusted the setting to on the Breville to be as close to what I would normally do for a manual pour over as I could get them, 45 sec bloom, 205 degree water, coffee ground to med course grind, 32 grams of coffee to 500 mls of water, and got to “work”. Over the next few days I took notes (actual flippin’ notes) I tweaked, I adjusted, I clean up a lot of coffee splatter, and all I got for my troubles was many many inconsistent cups of coffee. In short, I took this way too seriously, this kit is not worth the price ($35) and I’m just gonna stick to doing manual pour overs.

Easy to use and works perfectly
I was a bit hesitant after reading some bad reviews, but decided to judge for myself, and Iâm glad I did!! It works flawlessly in the precision brewer along with the Hario v60 dripper, and server, and is the easiest thing to use.I read some reviews about people complaining that instructions werenât clear enoughâ¦it is so straight forward to use, that I canât even imagine needing any instructions for it.And to the people complaining about it being too much work for just a cup or two, Iâll say this; pour over isnât for everyone! It is for people that enjoy the diferente processes of making a cup of coffeeâ¦if you want easy with no work, buy a Keurig, or nespresso machine.
