Attractive, Large, Stoneware Mug
So, there are 2 main points to note here. First, the packaging is horrible. There’s really no other way to explain this. Seller readily admits that they have poor packaging, but that they need to exhaust all current stock of their packaging before updating to something else. I suppose by their calculations it must be cheaper to send out a replacement mug than to ensure the first one gets there safely. To this point, I can say that the seller indeed does stand behind their product 100%! After contacting them regarding my first mug which arrived in a pile of shards as shown, they immediately sent out a replacement which arrived a day later. EXCELLENT! Something to note here is that although seller packaging isn’t very good, the issue is mostly in how Amazon ships the item itself. The first mug came in an envelope! Who puts a fragile ceramic item in an envelope!!? So that part is on Amazon, not the seller. The replacement mug came in the same poor packaging, but was shipped in a BOX which helped to protect it. That came directly from the seller, not Amazon.Second part of review is about the mug itself. This is a very nice mug for the price point. It is a glazed stoneware mug and by most standards, a large one. It has a good feel and can hold nearly 20oz of beverage at 4″ wide and 3.5″ deep (2 cup measuring glass for scale). The glazing is varied in finish and adds a bit of design detail which of course is subjective to your particular taste. As the pictures show, the top 2 layers of color along with the inside of mug are shiny and smooth, while the bottom part is matte with a duller non shiny finish. This carries through to the handle as well. I can confirm that it can be placed in microwave with no issues. I haven’t tried the dishwasher as I washed it by hand, but it does say it’s dishwasher safe. Overall, this is a 5 star item that would benefit from better packaging, but is backed up by a solid seller who stands by their product.

Quality
Quality. I use this almost daily for tea, and I find that itâs easy to clean and hasnât had an issues with leaking or the ceramic chipping. For the price, I am happy. The colors remain vibrant, the handle seems great for the bigger size.

Loved the color
First impressions itâs larger than I thought. The color is great, I loved it.But I wish the top part of the cup is smaller and shape inward, and not wide outwards. Because when I put water in and coffee from a machine the water goes in the cup and bounces out some water.Overall, itâs a good cup.

Good capacity but short means ‘walking spills’
A 16-oz fill-up means the fluid level is a half-inch from the lip of the cup. If I walk around and jostle this mug, I’ll have spills.These have a good, wide bottom for sturdy desktop ‘planting’ and when I absentmindedly reach for this mug when it’s full, I can jostle-splash nearly-full contents. “So, drink some first – why are you absentmindedly reach for it? You should have consumed another half-inch or so before daydreaming!”

Best Mug Ever
I donât drink coffee- but I do drink bone broth! This is the best mug Iâve ever had- it can go in the microwave and it keeps the broth hot for longer!! I may purchase more and gift them with everything needed for hot chocolate! This mug would be perfect!!
