Sturdy, good clamp & cute!
Love these jars. A little more expensive compared to the cheaper style but these I feel confident using with all the opening of the clamp and mine sit on a granite (rock) counter. I would ONLY recommend this brand from Italy. The medium sized ones are my favorite. The smaller ones when opening the lid the lid hits the counter so you have to be careful. Actually when opening the others the lid would hit the jar as it extends so you wouldnât release the clamp and just drop lid if this makes sense. I also like the wide mouth opening. Easier to get a large serving spoon in it. Our pet ring neck dove approves of these also. I keep his bird seed in a few of them including chia seed so I open it and he hops on it and helps himself to his food. So itâs Dove Approved! ðThank you for these great jars!I recommend and would buy again!!

Great Storage Jars!
I love these jars! They are perfect for storing chia seeds, hemp seeds, couscous, quinoa, raisins, etc. Anything that comes in a plastic bag, I put in one of these glass jars: it keeps the product fresh. I discovered that keeping product in the plastic bag it comes in started to make that product smell and taste like plastic. Yuck! So when I saw these jars on sale during the Amazon Prime days, I snatched a few up. Perfect storage jars!!

6.25″ H x 3.75″ W – 1/2 C Dry Measuring Cup Fits
When I buy pickles or any other acidic foods, the lids of the glass jars they come in rust, so I bought these jars to store pickles, pepperoncinis, etc in the fridge. Size was important for me to ensure they fit on my fridge door shelf. If you need to scoop something out of this jar, a dry measuring cup of 1/2 will fit in the opening. 1 cup is too big. It’s a strong seal. I don’t know how long the rubber gasket will last, but I see there are replacements available.

Good for a Life Time
High quality glass jars like these made by Bormioli Rocco will last many, many years, and you need only replace the gasket when it wears out. I purchased these to add to my collection of glass storage jars, and I would not store food in anything without a truly air-tight lid. I like the simple, square design. My main use for these is storage, and I recommend them for that purpose.

Fermenting perfection
These are the only flip top jars recommended in my fermenting group and I can see why. They are self-burping, so you can put in your recipe and forget it till youâre ready to eat or refrigerate. My first ferment in these jars turned out perfect.
