Reliable and effective milk foamer and utility stirrer
It just keeps going and going … We went through many foamers until we found this product. They typically failed within weeks. We did have a Bodum fail; after years of use, it developed an internal short, I think, becoming hot to the touch and failing. We’re on our second, and it’s going strong after months and months. Somehow they’ve been engineered to give excellent battery life. Our Bodum whips up copious foam in seconds. Turns out to be handy for lots of other small stirring jobs. For example, when it’s time to dissolve a teaspoon or two of yeast in a couple of cups of water, the Bodum makes quick work of it.They require two AA batteries. Look sharp when you remove the black plastic cap to change batteries and note how the curvature matches the top of the casing. You need to put it back the same way or it’ll not snap into place.

Surprisingly good!
Didnât expect much. Itâs small. Itâs cheap. But it works very well! Note: batteries not included. Warm your nut milk, oat milk, cow milkâ¦tastes better. Nice to have a small appliance in my already overstuffed kitchen.

Made in China = does not work. so sad.
It’s sad to see all these products made in china become inferior to their potential. this is a prime example of a great company like Bodum whose other products I have used extensively in the past move their manufacturing over to China and trade quality for price. I’d rather spend the extra 5-10 for a quality product. Sadly there aren’t many out there anymore. I received a product today which didn’t work from day one. the cheap plastic piece on the bottom doesn’t latch on properly and the whip part spins around in a circular motion violently for 5-10 seconds shaking the entire handle.Follow-up – SO i sent the first one back hoping it was just damaged in the shipping, and received the second one today…. nope still a horrible device. the rubber top pops off, doesn’t hold the batteries in. the device still shakes when you first turn it on. sadly My first one wasn’t damaged just poorly made all the way around. Sigh. not going to even bother returning this one. what a waste.

GREAT FROTHER FOR COFFEES
I had this frother for 13 months before & it finally stopped working. If you are not familiar with cappuccino frothers, they work great but don’t last long. They typically last for 2-4 months & die. My aunt stocks up on cheap ones from a place out of Texas and uses them like they are disposable. This one that is stainless steel has lasted longer than any of them. Since I use it a couple of times every day, I think it is worth the money and the free shipping I got at the time was awesome. If you use it less, it will probably last even longer.

Battery cap will not stay on
I chose this frother because my son has this same frother. His is several years old and has no problems but the one I received must have a defect. It works fine until the battery cap comes off. I should have sent it back but waited to long.

Good but not Perfect
I purchased this whip because it stands by itself so holder necessary, but if there’s something sticky on the countertop the battery cap pops off when you pick it up. The next problem is the switch its harder than I would expect for a slider switch to turn on and off. A push button on off switch would be more accurate while preparing milk unless you are doing an entire pitcher. This will whip a cup of milk very fast and do a darn nice job of it. My only real problem with this is it does it so fast its hard to stop in time with the hard slider switch which results in frequent spills. I got this to make morning lattes easy not to create more work!

Whatâs with the battery cap?
The battery cap does not secure, it is not made correctly. Frustrating, everything else is great – look, function, handle. But the battery cap with the button that allows to function pops off and does not stay on, itâs a shame.

Works as advertised. However the battery cover keeps popping open from day one as the cap is not very secure. In the end we had to tape it up.
