I got this for my French press as the original ended up getting bent up on the edge and had a couple of sharp wires sticking out. The new one fit perfectly and works great.

Decent yet one strand of the strainer is sticking out after washing
Works well with my French presses with no issues, yet one has a piece of metal hanging out after washing it. It might have been because I used a wash towel and caused it. Other than that no issue. The rest of it is not coming lose and none of the coffee grounds are escaping it when making coffee so Iâm okay with it

Just what I needed
I use my French Press at least twice a day. The threads on this part, needed to screw in the post, wear out eventually from taking it apart and putting it back together to clean it. My French Press is a different brand but this fits perfectly. It saved me from having to buy a whole new setup.

I took a bit of a flyer on this part because my pot is one of the older types that had a plastic crossplate but it fits perfectly and works far better – the old plastic one warped quite quickly in the hot water and didn’t keep the mesh flat very effectively but this stainless steel one has made it as good as new (or possibly slightly better!)
