Makes great coffee but pot is very fragile. First bump in the sink and it was broken.

Makes great coffee!
This pour over set is great! The carafe is made of the thicker, heat-resistant class, which is reassuring it wonât break as easily. I have a different carafe made of a thinner glass and I can tell the difference in quality between the two. I still use a paper filter with mine, as I do with all my other pour overs and it makes a crisp, delicious coffee. The only downside is of course of the plastic parts used for the top, but luckily it doesnât affect the taste.

It’s finally here!!
I had this little do-dad before it got destroyed in 2021! It is AMAZING! Very convenient, easy to use and easy to clean pour over coffee container. It’s also very useful if you got critters around and don’t want them infesting your coffee maker when you try to make coffee! When I bought this again recently, it was delivered! This was not anyway shape or form Amazon or this companies fault! But my package got stolen, which bummed me bc I missed this thing so much. I didn’t know how to get a refund or anything, so I just bought another one. To make sure it didn’t get stolen AGAIN, I had my bf pick it up the minute it arrived. Thank you Amazon and Bodum for the WONDERFUL package!!

Perfect Cup – First Time Out of the Box
Tried to replace my old highly rated Bonavita but they are not made like they used to be. Coffee was terrible after 4 years of great coffee with my old one so returned it. It did not get hot enough. Fussed with French Press, two different types of pot. Could not get to that perfect, sweet taste. Decided to try a simple pourover because that was what the Bonavita was. Changed the grind size to work, boiled the water and made 20 o unces of perfect coffee the first time. Highly recommend pour over. Just make sure the basket is large enough to do the pour carefully.

Carafe Works Well Kalita 155 Dripper
The original 500 ml carafe for my Kalita 155 dripper broke (it lasted for several years) so I ordered this product for really the carafe. I really don’t want to use the plastic dripper it came with since I am happy with the Kalita – although it is nice to have it as a back-up. So the focus of this review is really more about the carafe. I’ve had the 20 oz carafe for over a month now and it has worked really well. It washes easily (the neck of the carafe is large enough to allow me to wash inside with a sponge) and it holds the dripper without any sliding or tipping over. The only minus I see is the lack of volume measurements imprinted on the side of the carafe. It would be more helpful to see 12 oz, 16 oz, 20 oz marked off on it so you know how much hot water to pour into the dripper. Otherwise, I highly recommend the carafe part of this item!
