Love this cold brew press!
This cold brew coffee maker is amazing so far. I’ve had it a week about a week and made 2 “pots” so far. I bought a coarse, cold brew coffee and used it. I like French vanilla, so that’s what I bought.If you are still deciding, watch some of the review videos. They are what sold me.I bought a large thing of French vanilla creamer, and between the coffee and the creamer, I’m really enjoying it. I’m going to save a lot of money too since I don’t have to go to the expensive places for coffee.I don’t know how the seal will hold up, but it seems to be well made. I don’t see it failing anytime soon. And with the cost, it won’t make it expensive to replace if they eventually do fail somewhere down the road.Very glad I made this purchase. Between design and functionality it was a very good choice.

I was a bit concerned about the real estate that it would use in the fridge but it’s not as bulky as I thought it would be. Excellent cold brew at a fraction of the cost that the Seattle company charges. It’s been holding up well and doing it’s job. Perfect if you don’t mind a bit of extra effort but if you make the effort you will be rewarded.

Si estÃ¡s empezando en el mundo del cafÃ©, es una muy buena cafetera de mÃ©todo. Por su puesto la otra parte depende del cafÃ©. Pero por su parte cumple con el objetivo, fÃ¡cil de usar, fÃ¡cil de lavar (con todo el cuidado por supuesto), sÃºper prÃ¡ctico y ademÃ¡s muy buena capacidad de contenido. Totalmente recomendable.

Great cold brew coffee maker
I bought two. Easy to use. Makes great cold brew coffee. Just add coffee grounds to your fed strength add water and place lid on. I brew mine for 24 hours in the fridge. When youâre ready to enjoy remove the lid and replace with plunger lid. Push down on plunger to force grounds to bottom of the pot. Leave in place as you use your coffee. The grounds are trapped in the bottom so you donât get any in your drink. Inexpensive, well made and functional.

Perfect for Cold Brew at a great price
This is my first go at making cold brew at home. I bought a mason jar with handle & spout (works great) with comes with a metal filter cone (not useful). At least with my well researched coffee:water ratio – and now limited practical experience – the cone will have coffee higher than the water you would use. And, it’s a pain to get the grounds out afterwards.This french press works much, much better. First, you get more coffee to water contact. Why try to keep them apart? It’s almost cruel. Second, should you choose you can really press the coffee out of the grounds to get every drop (you may get a little more sludge). Third, because it’s got the widest of mouths it’s the easiest dump out and clean.However, I DO recommend the mason jar handle/spout as a cool and practical container for the brew you will make from your concentrate. Just put the filter cone aside or put it on your coffee table as a conversation piece. It looks better than it works.I’m still working on perfection but here’s what I’ve got so far.- 5.5oz course ground coffee. So far I like Eight O’Clock for value but I’ll play the field. Dump grounds into french press.- Add 40oz clean water. Stir, cover. Leave for 24-36 hours with a good stir once or twice. I get noticeably better taste when I leave it out at room temp rather than “brewing” in the fridge.- Press the coffee. I get about 32oz of cold brew. I pour it into my mason/handle/spout thingamajig. Add 12oz clean water for approx 44oz (don’t hold me to it). Shake and place in fridge.- Dump the grounds, rinse or wash it out. You be you.

Sturdy and works well
My husband likes cold brew coffee, so I decided to get a cold brew coffeemaker. Since I prefer my coffee hot, I really wasn’t sure what to expect as I didn’t know much about the process. When I received it, I realized that this is really just a large french press, which I have a couple of. I guess I could have just used one of those, but this is quite a bit larger than what I have. I also got it at a really good price so I’m not going to complain. Just thought I’d note that for any other newbies. I followed the directions and the brew came out really nice. The taste was on point and there were no grounds floating around. It was super easy to clean and appears to be made really well as it feels sturdy. Like I said, it’s large, but doesn’t take up too much room if you put it in the refrigerator. I’m actually pretty happy with it and have started to enjoy that taste of the cold brew myself.
