Solved Every Problem
Day and night, compared with what we had. The mesh is fine; the center hole has a solid metal ring that won’t fray and let the screen get out of place; the bent-over edge also seems not to fray much, so any manual washing/drying is more conveniently done. If I picture my complaints about the old screen, this took care of each of them with quality.

Had a French Press that would let a buncha grounds through when you pressed it, the mesh just got old and worn out.Bought these and boy howdy, I’m back to consuming the daily recommended limit of Caffeine inside of an hour.I don’t know who these French people are, or what is so pressing that it requires the world to be addicted to legal cocaine, but golly do I ever consume a liter of the stuff at a time.Thanks guys, without you, I’d probably drink tea.
