sorry very dissappointing experience, when it was switched on we were able to see the displayes , but the hot plat was not worhing.

The hot plate keeps the coffee hot. Nice size for counter. Good brewing flavour.

Good basic reliable coffee maker
Iâve gone through about 4 of these over the last few years. Good hot coffee with simple machine. Hot plate eventually gets rusty and stops working after about 2 years of daily use. Not bad for a $35 machine.

Makes Great Tasting Coffee
It’s August 2024, I purchased this coffee maker in 2022 as a back-up machine, which I’ve kept in the attic until now. This is a good pot and I will keep using…as the PROS outweigh the CONS, and the pros being cons in my prior machine. Peace.PROS: coffee tastes really good; the carafe does NOT leak; programable; very easy to pour water in the reservoir; price; ease of use; nice size.CONS: you can’t extend the warming burner beyond 2 hours; although the pot makes “12 cups”, you are really limited to 6-8 because the coffee grinds overflow in the filter causing grinds in the coffee; there isn’t an indicator to signal the brewing cycle has ended.

Simple machine that works great
I don’t need a lot of bells and whistles, just a simple coffee machine for a cup of joe every morning. I got this after our keurig died, and it has been great. It doesn’t take up much room, it makes the coffee exactly the same every day, it has a timer which is nice, and it’s an overall good machine. It’s also much easier to clean than most machines.

Does everything the big coffee makers do. Basic design. Great functionality. Good coffee.
We bought this after our 21 year-old Cuisinart coffee maker finally died. We first bought another Cuisinart, and, although I’m fairly certain it would have lasted a long time, the footprint was huge; far larger than the old coffee maker. So, we decided to return the new Cuisinart and opt for something that would not take up so much counter space. We were happily surprised to find this B&D coffee maker which does everything the Cuisinart does but takes up less counter space (both horizontally and vertically). The design is classic; Looks like a basic on/off coffeemaker. However it also has a timer and the heat plate keeps the coffee warm for 2 hours. We like this product.

Brews good coffee
This coffee make brews a decent cup of coffee at an acceptable speed. It is easy to program, and keeps the coffee warm. The only complaint I have is that the brewing basket does not seat securely in the top, but wants to bounce up and down, but it hasnât been an issue when the lid is closed and coffee brewing. We did buy a reusable gold tone filter for the brew basket, which I recommend doing as one does not come with the coffee maker.
