These beans are divine!
EXCELLENT coffee.I’m a self-professed weirdo coffee snob. I even invested in a fancy espresso machine, as most coffee shop beans just aren’t up to par.These beans are up there with the crazy spendy, limited batch, single origins.It’s so, so smooth, rich without being heavy, with low acidity & wholly bitter-free. It’s simply perfectly roasted. I think that I may have found that elusive “official” daily bean.Good enough that you’re thinking about it the night before brew-time.

Good coffee, smooth taste and won’t give you the jitters. I usually drink dunkin but wanted whole bean with reduced caffeine. This flavor and caffeine level will perk you up and has a good finish.

Current Favorite Light Roasted Coffee Value
Fantastic whole bean light roast coffee and my favorite from this brand. Near equal to 3 times more expensive high-end Kona coffee. Love the brand’s zip lock open/close system system. Better than the typical fold and clasp used by most.For context I brew this coffee with an Aeropress using Amazon purchased awesome Viesimple conical grinder, which I also highly recommend as great value for all varieties of roast, from light to dark. Simply grind at 2.5 setting, pour in freshly boiled water, stir, wait one minute, stir again, then Aeropress the coffee. Perfection for a cup of coffee, especially Americanos !!

Not as fresh as expected; try ordering directly from roasters
[Review is for Silencer Smooth whole bean]1. Opened the bag and judging by the smell this coffee was not freshly roasted. Brewed it pour over and didn’t see much of the bubbling associated with freshly roasted coffee.2. Received this on 3/13/2019, no “roasted on” date, good thru date is 11/29/2020! IMHO the greatest coffee wizard in the world cannot roast a bag of coffee in/before March of 2019 and expect it to be good in November of 2020. It might still be safe to consume, but no way it would taste very good.3. Tasted good, not bad, not great; comparable to good grocery store bags of whole bean coffee.Takeaway: this is coffee that I would pay $5-7 for a bag if I got it off the grocery store shelf. This is not $15-20 per bag freshly roasted coffeehouse coffee.BUT: Having said that, I don’t know if Amazon stores these and thus I got a bag that had been sitting around for a while. At the very least, it’s worth taking a shot and ordering directly from the roasters. I suspect it would be much fresher and consequently tastier.

Best coffee out there
I switched from Starbucks to Black Rifle coffee over a year ago and I’ll never go back. The richness of the flavors and how smooth these beans taste is a game changer. Highly recommend trying it out if you haven’t. It’s important to note I drink my coffee black so I can taste all the different flavors and how smooth they are.

Perfect afternoon brew.
I like a strong dark roast in the morning. But in the afternoons something with alittle less bite is more the speed I’m looking for.The Silencer Smooth is the perfect combination of flavors to me. Fresh and fragrant right out of the package. And definitely worth the price.

Light and earthy flavor
smooth and light coffee with earthy and slightly salted and toasted undertones. Very nice for a quick brew/ blend with something medium and a little sweet
