Very happy with the grinder. Very happy. Recommended. (unpaid review)
I paid for the Beeone Electric Conical Burr Coffee Grinder with Digital Control with my own money; no one gave it to me for free to review and I am under no obligation to write a review. I’ve been using the grinder twice a day for about a month.Bottom line: I am very happy with my purchase and will recommend it to others. One really good feature they don’t tell you is that it comes with a rubber ring that fits on the top of the plastic bean holder and under the black cover. You use it after you do your grinding: push down on the top, and it pushes air through the burrs which cleans out the last bits of ground coffee. I get another 2-3 grams coffee after doing this. Even my much more expensive Breville Barista Express machine can’t do this!UsageSelect the grind, by turning the base. I use setting 3 for my espresso machine, I’ve tried setting 2 (more fine) as well, and both work for espresso. (Settings 0 and 1 are for Turkish coffee; higher numbers would be for pour-over, drip brewing, and the like; I don’t do these so I can’t comment more.)Then you select either number-of-cups (so it’ll grind enough beans to produce that many cups of coffee) or Timer mode (so it’ll grind either till 40 seconds is up or till you tell it to stop). I found the number-of-cups selection didn’t have a setting that produced 17 grams of ground coffee I need, so I grind at setting 3 for 9 seconds and get 17 grams. (I’m using a medium-roast coffee. Different roasts may need different grinder settings to produce the 17 grams.)The coffee beans are ground evenly, and the quantity of coffee ground (in 9 seconds or in 1, 2, etc cups) is consistent each time.DrawbackWhile you can select the number of cups to grind, you cannot select a number of seconds to grind. Let me explain. You can set 1, 2, 3, etc cups, and press Start, the machine will grind for a set time depending on number of cups you selected. (Good). However if I want to grind for 9 seconds, I have to select Timer mode, press start, and then press start again when the timer hits 9 seconds. It would be nice if I could tell the device to grind for 9 seconds and stop automatically. (not quite as good)PositivesLarge hopper so you don’t fill it oftenCovered and kind-of sealed hopper so beans are not exposed to open airRubber seal on the hopper used to express all groundsWorks well with oily (French roast for example) coffee (doesn’t clog)Small footprintThe container that holds the grounds weighs an even100.3 grams which makes it easy to check how much has been ground (I look for 117.3 grams!). Silly, maybe, but very helpful.

Yum yum yum….
So, it is a burr grinder and I do use it to grind what I need every day. But it is a little messy. Once a week I year this thing down and clean out all the parts. Grinds get stuck in the hopper, above the grinder, the spout out, and at the very bottom where it collects. I am kind of a neat freak so I don’t mind. For the price it grinds nicely. I would suggest using old beans or buying some junk beans like “STAHBUCKS” so you don’t have to worry about perfecting your grind for your needs. I will say that all the way open or “course” works great for French Press. I use a pour over and like it pretty strong so I am 4-6 to the fine side of the middle. I do like the little “blow out” feature that it has with the rubber gasket as well. Nose level is pretty low as well.Happy grinding!

Grinds coffee well and evenly
This is a good coffee burr grinder for a very reasonable price. It grinds evenly and is not loud. Using it creates only very little mess – unlike the two other burr grinders that I owned before. This is something that I like very much!EDIT on 11/28/2023: After a few uses it became messier. It seems that the container for the ground coffee is now much more static than in the beginning. I would not want to use the grinder on a daily basis. However, I grind the coffee several days in advance and can therefore live with the mess (or rather: I can live with having to clean up the mess afterwards). The grinder still grinds well and evenly. END OF EDIT.The rubber ring that comes with it (and is not mentioned in the instructions) goes on top of the bean container, on top of that goes the bean container lid. Then, if you press the lid down quickly several times, it blows out some (or maybe all) of the coffee that is still in the grinder. It really works and is actually a pretty ingenious design! The cup timer can be set from 1 to 10 cups and it stops the grinder accordingly. If that works for you – great. If that does not work for you, you have to use the seconds timer. The seconds timer does not count down but up. This means you have to find out how many seconds you need for the amount of ground coffee you want and then stop the grinder manually at that time.Right now I have had this grinder for just a couple of weeks. So far I’m very satisfied with it and can recommend it.

Hard to use
The grinder stops grinding e wry few seconds and needs a shake to get the beans grinding again. Very messy. Would not recommend.
