Customers say

Customers enjoy this coffee’s taste, with one noting it has no bitter aftertaste, and appreciate its compostable packaging and eco-friendly nature. Moreover, the coffee receives positive feedback for its aroma, freshness, and smoothness, with one customer highlighting how the individual wrap maintains freshness and aroma. However, customers disagree on the plastic packaging, with some appreciating its absence while others find it problematic. Additionally, compatibility is a concern as the pods don’t work with newer Keurig machines.

    Delicious, Sustainable, and Worth Trying
I recently decided to try out some new coffee pods and wanted to share my experience. As a strong advocate for environmental sustainability, I prefer coffee pods that are both biodegradable and organic. For a while, I’ve been using the San Francisco Bay Organic Rainforest Blend, and it’s been fantastic. However, this blend is their only organic option, so I was excited to discover Beaniac Organic Coffee Pods, which offer multiple organic flavors.I decided to start with one of their more popular flavors: Madagascar Vanilla. So far, I’ve been very impressed. The flavor is delicious, and the aroma is wonderful—it’s a great way to start my mornings! While reading other reviews, I noticed some people mentioned issues with the pods breaking open and spilling grounds into their Keurig machines. Thankfully, I haven’t experienced this problem. However, I have noticed that if I don’t remove the pod immediately after brewing, it tends to get stuck. When I lift the handle later, the pod becomes wedged between the holder and the lid. It’s a bit inconvenient but manageable.Overall, my experience has been positive, and I’ve just ordered their French Roast to give it a try. If you’re looking for a biodegradable, organic coffee pod with flavor variety, Beaniac is worth considering!

Amazing flavor. Only 1 wish list item (make pod Lids paper based rather than resin)
These pods taste amazing. The French brew is full of flavor and full-bodied. Amazing brew. The main reason I got this pod was to get away from plastic leaching chemicals of K-cups.These came up as highly reasonably priced as well as organic grounds.Only problem I found is that the lid (where the pod brand is printed) is made of compostable resin. While not traditional petrochemical plastic, my concerns are the potential for chemical additives, possible leaching when exposed to hot liquids, and the need for industrial composting to ensure proper breakdown.I wish they made it from paper. That way, I can be sure there are no chemical migration or microplastic concerns.

    Surprisingly aromatic and rich
You have to be careful with these compostable k cups. Not that they’re not compostable (they are) but how they’re stored makes a big difference. I recently switched to these from my compostables at my regular grocery store because I only buy them on sale but they’ve not been so in weeks. So on a whim I bought these. I’m so glad I did. They come in a bag with “loose” k cups but the bag is the sturdy vented kind that ground or whole bean coffee comes in. It has the fold over structure with the flat “twist tie” kind of material which makes them store nicer than what I’ve used from other companies. I may still invest in a mason jar vacuum setup to really keep them fresh since I only use one a day, but if I don’t I’m fine with this Meanwhile the flavor is terrific. It’s rich, aromatic, has a little nuttiness that Colombian coffee is known for. It’s a good value $ but I’d have to buy it on sale here in order to beat the price at my grocery store. But no matter. I’ve found a really good option and that makes me happy

    Great tasting Medium Roast Coffee!!
UPDATED REVIEW: Well, I made my second cup of coffee and this time it came out smelling and looking like a great cup of coffee. I brewed it differently this time. Even though it technically is a coffee pod and I still used the coffee pods adapter, I used my coffee brew button that said it was ground coffee to trick my coffee pot into brewing the lid differently. (don’t ask me how the coffee pot is smart enough to know the difference…hahaha!). Anyhoo, this coffee tastes GREAT! Medium Roast, and smooth taste. I love it and I will be purchasing more. Oh, and I had NO problems with the coffee pod opening when brewing.FIRST REVIEW: I received this medium roast coffee today, 3/4/2025, and I was so excited to try it that I made a cup of coffee right away. After the brewing process the coffee brewed very weak. It almost looked like a cup of tea, as I could see through the coffee to the bottom of my white mug. I was SO disappointed. I added 1/2 & 1/2 cream, as I usually do for my coffee and it was so light it actually looked like I just made hot water and cream. So I poured it out and made a different cup of coffee. I am going to make another cup of coffee now, and I will give this “beaniac, beam me up” coffee pod a second chance. I will be back with an update.

Strong coffee for a lite blend
This coffee says it’s a lite blend but it is very strongI do enjoy and good flavored coffee but I honestly have to add water to each cup it’s so strong. Maybe the wrong blend was packaged in the lite box??I do love the fact that it’s organic tho

    Great Compostable Option
Was looking for organic kcups with no plastic and this is a great affordable option! I was surprised to see that every pod is individually wrapped but that was a delightful surprise because it probably keeps each individual kcup fresher. The taste and strength is great. Overall happy with these and would recommend.
