I was surprised how amazingly this worked! My pot somehow got very stained and nothing would clean it. I was worried I’d have to replace it and got this as a last try. It made it so shiny that I had to polish the rest of my coffee maker! It all looks so great now!

The product work extremely well and cleaned heavily stained coffee pot.I could not find this in local stores, so could not check on pricing, but Amazon delivered next day

Even though this is designed to clean the whole coffee maker, I only used it on the pot. Letting the water mixed with the appropriate amount of cleaning solution sit in the pot for about an hour was enough to remove all the stubborn coffee stains in the pot. I did use a round sponge scrubber on an long handle to reach all the areas of the interior because it was not possible to reach in with my hand. Overall, I was very happy with the final result.

It works!! And very well I might add.
I have a 22 oz YETI, stainless steel coffee mug I have had for many years. I use it every day to drink black coffee. The inside of this mug was literally black from the staining it has been used so much. I tried once soaking it in white vinegar, but that didn’t touch the staining, it was so bad. I found this and thought I’d give it a shot. I followed the instructions on how to clean a stainless steel travel mug. While you are only supposed to soak it for 30 minutes, I ended up soaking mine for a couple of hours because I fell asleep for a while. When I went to pour it out, the water was so dark it looked like I was pouring out a cup of coffee, however the inside was still black. So, I got a kitchen towel and started wiping down the inside of the mug, the towel was literally black. So I switched and got a wet paper towel and began to clean it. The paper towel came out black. But the inside of the mug was beginning to come clean. After going through a number of wet paper towels, the inside of my mug was finally clean and shiny again on the inside, except for a few spots that I don’t think my hand could reach very well, like at the very bottom, there was still somewhat of a ring around the very bottom groove of the cup. But I give this stuff 5 stars because it got a black stained mug silver again. From now on, I am going to use it once a month to keep my mug clean. But I definitely recommend because this stuff works.

Carafe sparkling clean, coffee maker not so muchâ¦
I had very high hopes for this product, having used Bar Keepers Friend cleaners all over, and getting great results. But on first use, it didnât work as well as the supermarket cleaners I have used. First, the cycle stopped mid-stream. I had to restart the cycle at least twice. This does often happen when cleaning on the first cycle, so I didnât think anything of it right away. Then I went into the rinses. I usually do 3-4 rinse cycles. I donât think one of them completed without my needing to restart a stopped cycle. Tried brewing a few pots. I brew Iced tea almost exclusively, putting two pots of water through the same leaves. Still needed to re-start mid-cycle, at least once. In the 4-6 cycles I did brewing tea, I think it went through one cycle start to finish. Ok, tried the product one more time. This time, though, I did follow the directions for leaving the product in the carafe 30 minutes before starting the rinses. Unfortunately, the same result. Though the carafe came out sparkling clean though after leaving the product in the carafe for the 30 minutes! Three rinse cycles, and none went straight through. After the third, I remembered I had a little remaining supermarket fluid lying about. Iâm not sure if it was even half the recommended amount, but I dumped it in with water, and the cleaning cycle and four rinses went straight through without stopping. Maybe it is the design of my Bonavita Coffe maker (bought here!). I decided to give three stars because it did clean the carafe wellâ¦
