Tea box – well thought out design
I’ve always wanted a tea box. I got my son-in-law one for a present.The vegetable staining is smart for a food grade container.The container is sturdy. solid, snaps shut smartly with a latch.The brace corners reinforce an already well constructed bamboo box.The tea holders for loose or packaged tea are sizeable.Everything is coming out of the cabinet and into this box to actually be seen and offered to guests.It is beautifully designed and keeps me organized. LOVE Tea.

Great tea box
Love this tea box! Bought the 8 slot one and now I don’t have to dig through so many tea boxes.It looks great, doesn’t feel like it’ll fall apart, holds quite a bit of tea and the dividers can be removed to customize it a little. The dividers look to be a quarter inch think so no worries about it bending if you over stuff it.Only complaint I can see someone having is there’s a lot of sharp corners, like it wasn’t sanded. Even the clasp is a little edgy. For the price, it’s already more than expected so that’s not really a good complaint. There’s no loose hinges, lid closes tight, no splinters and thick dividers. Though the dividers do feel like they may splinter if you’re rough with them so I might sand the edges of those down a bit so they can be inserted smoothly. Oh and the hinges might scratch surfaces if stored on the back side, I’m going to add some feet to the back and felt to the bottom so I don’t have to worry about what I put it on.While the lid closes tight, I don’t feel it’s air tight so probably not the best for loose leaf tea that isn’t inside something. Though air tight wood is hard to do and would probably make it quite a bit more expensive or prone to quality control issues. It works great for tea bags, small tea cans and any tea supplies you can think of.I’m glad the dividers are removable. I bought these test tubes filled with loose teas a while back from World Market and they fit perfectly when I removed the divider between 2 slots and put 2 small cans on the other side.The slots are wide enough for some of my wider than normal tea bags and there’s enough room above that things sticking up a bit weren’t a problem, but not so high that I have to worry about things moving around when stored on its side.Just a warning, the 8 slot isn’t small! I had meant to put it on the same shelf as my teas, but I didn’t measure and it ended up wider than the shelf so it’ll end up somewhere else. 🙂

My college son who lives at home and I like teas in the evenings. Now I have one of these for caffeine teas and one for decaf teas. I ordered the 6 bin boxes. They are sturdy. Clean. Unscented. Perfect.

This is a very nice well built tea box for the money. I wanted the 8 slot one but got the 6 slot one for faster shipping. Holds about 16 of my teabags per compartment. Looks great and very functional.Iâll probably end up getting the 8 compartment one eventually. But the size just depends on how many different teas one drinks

The natural look of the wood is really nice. The hardware is sturdy and the divided sections hold a lot of teabags, even room for non standard sized ones. My only complaint is mine arrived with a crack in the lid. While the sides were well protected in shipping, the top and bottom did not have additional protection. Disappointed with the split in the wood, but would still recommend product based on overall design and production quality for the price.Edit update: Contacted the seller and had an almost immediate response saying a new one will be shipped free of charge! Excellent service.

Looks good and is functional
I thought the box style looked good. There are multiple sizes and styles available, and some of the reviews for the wider boxes said that after a while the lid split. I’ve had this narrower style for several month in a semi-arid climate, and the lid is still fine. The box still functions well and looks like new. I don’t use it for tea – it stores keys and pocket knives. Dividers can be moved or removed to accommodate different sized items.
