I didn’t know I needed this but did know I had a problem balancing the dog, my coffee and the laptop. When it came, I immediately ordered another for the other end of the sofa — which is white and I’d really like to keep it that way. the platform is large enough for coffee (or balance a glass of wine) plus a small plate of cookies / bowl of popcorn. The side wooden slates hug the sofa’s contour and stabilize the tray. There’s nothing to improve on, these are the best.
