Does the job but stains over time
This type of soap dish meets my hope to keep the soap from goo-ily sticking to the tile surface. But, it’s in a wet environment the the soap goo does land on it, so eventually it starts to darken and sometimes the color leaches from the wood into the water accumulated beneath the dish. I’ve had no problem cleaning up around this–I do it regularly. If you leave it unattended I don’t know how easy cleanup would be later.

THEY GREW MOLD. HORRIBLE.
I was happy with this product until I noticed after 2 months that the soap dish grew MOLD!I keep a bar of dial hand soap on it. The bathroom it is in is well ventilated and not damp. I have never had a soap dish mold before. Would return if I could but return window is closed.
