Perfect for home and my car also
This is so handy! I have a small living room and not enough room for a table with grandbabys toys..now my phone , remote and a cup of coffee have a spot tp rest.

4.5 How did I get along without this?
All it took was for me to put it over the couch arm and try to slide it back and forth (It grips) for my friends to want one.Too bad. It’s mine.The joints are tightly glued to the felt, but so it’s possible that it might pull apart if the glue melts, or degradesThe non-slip back is a felt-like material on which each board of bamboo is individually glued on. It’s a solid glue job, no visible glue lines that covers the entire back in one piece, instead of strips. I am unsure how durable the constant bending of the felt will be to hold up, but out of the box it looks like it will last a few years.Now that I’ve tossed one over the arm rest, I gotta tell you, I want to keep one around. It’s very handy.

Good size that doesnât slide around
I got these to replace the cupholders on a lovesac sactional. These are way better and stay in place. Lost count of how many times the old cupholders slipped off when not in use. I also think these are much better looking.

WORKS!!!
I have a double recliner with a storage/arm rest in the middle. Because these recliners are fabric, everything we place on top wobbles and invariably, falls off. On one side is an end table, no problem for whoever sits on the side next to it. But, for myself, I had to struggle with my cup of tea and finally drank my afternoon and evening tea out of to go cup. Than is, until I came across this tray. Because the armrest is wide, I took the advice of another poster and cut one slat off, the one closest to the seat. This way when you recline, there is just the right amount of clearance so that the seat does not push the tray off the armrest. This tray DOES NOT MOVE once you place it on the armrest. I did have my doubts and I was playing with all different sorts of scenarios and I am pleased to say that this tray does not budge, even when full of items and the kitty jumped on top of it (curiosity). I am very, very impressed with this design and the very fine quality of workmanship, bamboo and the felt that is glued on the back of the side slats. By the way, I used a boxcutter with a new blade to cut through the felt. It is very well made and I highly recommend it.

Sits securely on the couch arm, looks good
I was curious to see how well this actually stays on my couch and I’m happy to say it doesn’t move at all, feels quite stable. The bamboo looks good in our house with lots of natural wood accents. Enough space for a small plate or several mugs. The sides tend to lift off the couch a bit but maybe they will droop more as it loosens up over time. Solid little couch tray.
