I use these for tea concentrates and occasionally lemonade. They work great. I ordered a lid with a pour spout so can’t speak for the metal lids. No issues with chips or breakage, even when brewing tea.Update: one of these shattered when I finished my lemonade and put it in warm soapy water, the other shattered after dropping it from about 2”. I really liked them, so I will buy more but found you can buy a 12 pack for $13-$17 at retail stores (Walmart, Target, Fleet Farm) so I will buy the replacements there instead. I have removed one star due to the pricing and durability.
