It works!
Iâve had this for a few weeks now and find myself using it constantly.It works great, seals good and doesnât burn through the bag.Once the bag gets too low thereâs a cutting end as well. I opened a bag of chips and usually just clip it closed but now I grab this off the fridge(has a magnetic side)and zip it across!

I am still having difficulty getting this to work
I was very hard to slide across the item that you want to see, and I am not sure that I am getting the heat level that I need to seal the bags. I will continue to practice on the bags provided or on actual items as it may be easier than the small bags. Itâs definitely a good price point if I can get it to work.

Love this bag sealer gadget
Great little bag sealer. Itâs good quality, sturdy. There is a learning curve on the use. You have to practice a little to get the seal correct. Example: which way to slide the sealer( preference). And if you hold it in one spot too long it will melt through the plastics. Therefore you must slide the sealer evenly, and consistently to get a good seal. But, practice makes perfect as you learn how much heat time it takes to seal different types of plastics. Only minimal for a regular baggie, but a little longer slide time on a chip bag. I love it great gadget to hang on the fridge for daily use. Make a great friend gift!

What a handy thing!
For the price I’m glad to have this around. It takes 2 AA batteries, which it comes with. No clue on battery life yet, but hopefully it’s decent. I had a little trouble figuring out how to reattach the battery door at first, but it seems easy enough once you have the hang of it. I do wish there was some sort of indicator light to let you know when it’s on, both to be sure no one in my house leaves it on by mistake and because it’s an item that heats up. There is a slight learning curve to use, but they include a few tester bags in the box so you can practice. If you press down too hard you’ll melt a hole through the bag rather than sealing it. A light squeeze is all you need. Having looked at a number of these before I chose this one, I’m glad that the cutter piece isn’t a blade that slides out, just another section at the opposite end to slide along the bag. Seems safer that way. We recently had a bit of a pantry moth infestation. We invested in a lot of airtight containers to store our grains and such, but sometimes you’re out of containers or you don’t have anything the right size on hand. Being able to reseal packages will futher help us keep out the pests!
