My Go To bag for home roasting!
This is perfect. Durable, has the one way valve and stands on its own. This has become my favorite bag for home roasting. I use them over and over writing on them in dry erase marker to keep the roast date and blend visible.

Be careful!!
This product is AMAZING if sold by the shop âBig Hug Timesâ, but HORRIBLE if sold by â JARABESCOFFEEâ. The latter store sells the bogus version, cheaply made with different material, the center ventilation whole is NOT aligned to the venter (rather punched to the light), and each pouch doesnât even hold 16oz. Dimension isnât the same – itâs definitely shorter. Also the zipper doesnât seal properly, very loose (again, the bogus version is cheaply made on everything), and the worst part is JARABESCOFFEE sells it with slightly higher price! Honestly, this bogus version isnât worth $20 (but the genuine one sold by BigHugTimes). Be careful! I got this by clicking the âby it againâ button on Amazon. Iâll have to check the store that fills this item again from now on, be careful everyone whoâs interested in this item – Amazon, hope youâre reading this.

Not a bad bag…but there is an odor at first.
I really would like to find a coffee bag which does not require a heated clamp to close it. Yes, there is a slide-lock re-closure strip but I would like to seal the tear off portion of the bag. This must be done thermally. I wish someone would make one with a peel off adhesive strip. We only produce a couple hundred pounds of coffee, mostly for our personal use. But, if I want to send gifts of coffee, it would save me investing in a heat sealer.The bags themselves BARELY hold a pound. You have to really stuff it in there or package 15 ounces or so. When I first opened the bags, there was a strong rubber odor. Needless to say it would have not helped the flavor of the coffee. However, after a few hours of airing them out, the odor seems to have left.
