I really like this line of bowls and plates. They are high quality, and I don’t have to worry that my daughter will be ingesting any unsafe chemicals.The dishes themselves are attractive. I am not a fan of tacky tin or plastic kids plates, and these transition nicely from toddler dishes to child size plates. The suction rings work very well for us, and being able to remove them when the child no longer needs them is a big plus.The handle on the spoons are thick, perfect for small hands, and the large scoop holds enough food that even if unsteady hands drop food, some is likely to still be on the spoon.They are not dishwasher or microwave safe, which I don’t mind, as bamboo isn’t supposed to be microwaved,but some may not like that. It seems alot of people ruined theirs because they didn’t know that, but I’m pretty sure the packaging said it as well.I am removing a star because while I do really like them, I do feel they are overpriced. A single plate is $20 and the plate and bowl set $35, which is just too much. I would absolutely buy more if the plates were $12, maybe even $15. The set I would pay about $23, $28 max. As they are the prices they are, I now have the set and single plate, and I do not plan on buying more, regardless of how much I like them.

If you are a mom like me who does not like to feed their baby from silicon plates (I personally donât like silicon because of the lingering food smell after few uses) this bowl and their plate are perfect. We love Avanchy brand and have their collection for my toddler.

Very well made and sturdy. Has been thrown off the high chair a few times already and none the worse for it. Also insulated heat well. A little expensive but well worth the prize IMO.
