Why should you buy this?
If youâre brewing and drinking coffee with this set you donât have to worry about kids asking why you only drink black coffee.Theyâll take one look at you and realize that an energy drink is basically just a pacifier for twenty somethingâs.Do you need this to enjoy good coffee? No. Do you look like the sort of person whoâs life has meaning and purpose when youâre drinking coffee from it? Yes.A Stanley says youâre still conflicted about that liberal arts degree you spent five years working on. This set says someday youâll retire with a 401k and no mortgage.

Fresh coffee with every pour
In looking for an alternative to metal reusable filters I found this set and I absolutely love it.

Cute idea but too fragile for travel
I loved the idea of this pourover set to use in hotels, and it is cleverly designed to pack all the pieces away in a single container. Unfortunately, I don’t see myself using this regularly because of a few downsides. Most notably, the glass feels fragile and the pieces rattle together a bit when packed away. I can’t see this set (the pourover funnel piece especially) surviving more than a couple times in a suitcase without breaking. The size is also a bit too small for me to warrant the effort of pourover; I’d like to have more than a tiny cup of coffee! Finally, the cloth filter is nice in concept but messy to clean up and leaves you with something requiring air-drying. Of course, you could always use paper filters instead. This is not the good travel coffee solution I hoped for.

Good for one person, too delicate to travel with
This drip coffee maker comes in a very unique design, with a reusable cloth filter, leather handle, and wood cover. The rest of it is glass, including the drip funnel. It’s best as a gift item for coffee, antique or design fans. I think it may be too delicate to put in your luggage to use during travel, so I’d suggest using it at home when you feel like preparing a good, slow cup of joe.

Cracked and then broke. Strait Away!!
The product came with great excitement but it was just terrible after a few uses.

lovely little set
wonderful portable pour over coffee station. it’s a clever design, with all the components nestled into each other to fit in the zipped bag. the bag is made of high quality material and the handle feels durable. once open, everything is tucked away cleanly and unpacks quickly. the glass does seem to be on the thin side, nothing like borosillicate, but it seems to be strong enough to withstand high temperature water, i probably wouldn’t use it in the dishwasher all the same. the wooden element is super solid with a smoothe finish. the hole is big enough the glass cone fits deep enough to avoid tipping over, a problem i’ve had with other pour over coffee stations. must say, i’m not crazy about the cloth filter. as someone who is prone to making multiple cups in a day, this just doesn’t seem sustainable to me. i would need multiple cloth filters to switch out while the other is in the wash. luckily, it is small enough to hand wash and dry pretty quickly considering, maybe i’m just old school and am too attached to paper filters. i also like being able to toss spent grounds outside or in the compost and the cloth makes that process a little more time consuming. the thing i absolutely *love* about this set is the drip tray! soooo many companies miss the mark on that element, and i’m so glad they included it here. once the coffee is done steeping, it’s always been a struggle for me to figure out where to put the drip device. and in true form, they always continue to drip, even if you’ve measured everything precisely, it’s the nature of the beast. this is such a classy little drip tray, clear glass and the wooden lid sits perfectly on top. love love love that. the “leather” handle is a thoughtful touch, the glass is hot after a brew, and even if you are not using the provided cup to drink from and simply transferring the liquid to another cup, like i do, this little handle makes it easy either way. it’s fake leather, which i had to triple check because i personally didn’t want any real leather, so that was a relief to read. it is a very close replica however and really made me do a double take. since i won’t be using the cloth filter, i’m actually just using it as a buffer in between glass elements when i go to store everything back in its bag. it’s a cushion in between the glass cone and glass cup, though the glass drip tray does rattle around the bottom a bit, unless you’re like, playing catch with the whole thing, i really don’t think there’s enough room for it to get damaged with regular use. it is something i’m aware of when carting around though. overall, love this little set! makes grab and go a reality, i just like everything having a home that takes up such little surface area, but certainly if i was traveling, this would definitely get tossed into the luggage. glad to have snagged it! and looking forward to seeing how well it holds up with daily use
