Beautiful and Functional Matcha Tea Set!
I love the set and use it daily. It is beautifully crafted and includes everything you need for a traditional matcha ceremony, or in my case, just making matcha. I appreciate that once I mix my matcha in the bowl, it has a pouring spout preventing spills. I was concerned that cleaning the natural bamboo mixer often would cause it to fall apart quickly. However, it has held up quite well. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into designing each piece.

Has Everything You Need and What You Didn’t Know You Needed
After attending this year’s Japantown Cherry Blossom Festival, it reminded me of the tea ceremony that used to be part of the program during the pre-pandemic days. Longing for that experience, I wanted to recreate it at home. I was looking for matcha whisk and came upon this kit that had everything I needed and things I didn’t even think about like that cute little ducky tea scoop holder.I am all about experiences over material things but this is definitely one material thing I highly recommend to feel that true experience.

I’m reviewing Artcome 9 Pcs Japanese Matcha Tea Set including Matcha Bowl with Pouring Spout, Matcha Whisk, Tea Scoop, Whisk Holder, Matcha Powder Caddy, (Black)I enjoy a good cup of tea and have been wanting to try matcha. This is a beautiful set that has what I needed to get started brewing matcha.This would be a beautiful set for gift giving.The set was well packaged in soft styrofoam so that everything arrived intact (see photo). I can’t imagine anything breaking, but if it does, there are instructions included for getting broken pieces replaced at no charge.All the components are well made and worked as expected.I find $24.99 to be a reasonable price for the matcha set.As a side note, this Artcome Japanese Matcha Tea Set is made in China.

Absolutely Beautiful
I love this entire set! Everything feels really nice and I love the design of the whisking bowl. I also really like that they added a small duck figurine and a cloth to place down when you’re having your matcha. Super super cool kit. It was also packaged really well to make absolutely sure that nothing broke and it came with cards that talked about the set and how it worked. I love this so much and am so happy to add this to my fancy drink station.

PRO- Very aestheticly pleasing set. Great for user generated content.- Includes everything you need except for the matcha. Wisk, wisk stand, sieve, scoop, scoop stand, matcha container, bowl, and towel. Amazing!- Quality is fair across the board. The wisk is good for most methods.- Untreated bamboo. No wax or dyes in your tea!CON- The container to store matcha is not air tight. I would not suggest storing your high quality matcha in it.- The glass bowl gets super hot super fast making it difficult to pick up and transferring into your drinking cup.Great for starters and intermediate matcha lovers. Be sure to use high quality matcha (bright green) and not baking matcha (dull & dark). Also do not use boiling water! Just hot water. This set has everything included that is needed, and they look and feel like good quality. The included towel is very cute, and complements the entire set while when completely set up. The mixing bowl is indeed no spill when I was using it. The bamboo whisk feels really natural as it mixes the matcha and hot water. The little scoop however isn’t really a “teaspoon”, but you can easily figure out how many of those scoops are needed to make the right amount. The foil on the macha jar I left on to preserve the air tight quality of the lid. It is all very beautiful and I think well to both prepare matcha or as a display piece.

It took me a long time to write a review but I already had a long time to use it. All the instruments feel good quality, even the thin bamboo ones. The box is good, safe and the bowl is a good size. The strainer is very solid and the duckling is very cute. I don’t really understand what the Tabita and the mat are used for. I would have liked it a little bigger but for the price it’s incredible. I highly recommend it.
