excellent value and good decaffinated coffee
I like to buy beans and grind them myself. This is a good medium blend. Not strong enough for espresso, but very good in a regular drip machine. Because I have a good grinder, I mix my beans depending on my mood each day. I like darker coffee in the morning, and I have mixed this less expensive medium coffee bean in with a darker caffeinated bean, and I do not taste any difference. To be sure, this is not the quality of the kicking horse decaffeinated coffee that I love, but for the price, I am happy with this blend especially because I am always mixing my beans. I don’t drink a lot of coffee at night, but if I do, it has to be decaffeinated, and I find this one fits the bill. I should say that it makes a great cappuccino and latte especially if mixed with the darker beans. I will buy it again when it is on sale.

Rich tasting decaf
This is one of the best tasting decafs I’ve had, it’s rich and smooth. Can’t say as much about the packaging. Hard to open, bag ribs in a weird way, sometimes throws beans all over the floor. But knowing that after the first bag you can be prepared for it.. the coffee is still worth it.

Best Decaf I’ve ever tasted.
As someone who never liked any brand of decaf, I was very pleasantly surprised. My normal regular brew is the SF bay fog chaser, which has the smoothness I like. I have started doing half and and half lately but could never find a decaf I liked in my price range (cheap). Now, THIS one from Amazon was a big surprise. Very drinkable and smooth and does NOT taste like a decaf. No problems with packaging and tastes fresh. I make my coffee in reusable k cups with a medium(almost course) grind and it’s perfect

Disappointing
Trying to reduce my coffee budget, I’m always on the lookout for good decaf beans at less than a dollar an ounce. I had hopes for this decaf seeing that it was Rainforest Alliance certified. The beans have an underlying basic good flavor (although I typically buy better) and this would be a good value at its price point except for two things.First, it’s not water processed decaf and you can taste a very faint chemical flavor from the process. Second, it has a faint burnt taste, surprising since it is a medium roast. Should have guessed, Amazon being HQ’d in Seattle, it’s just another one of Starbucks’ burnt offerings.

I don’t have a picture of it anymore, but this coffee is better than a lot of other brands that are more expensive. ABSOLUTELY will be a staple in my kitchen from now on because coffee is getting expensive and this one solves that problem without taking away a GOOD coffee from your pantry. The packaging is also high quality and I love the design and color they chose for their marketing. This coffee will impress you and it will not disappoint.

Pleasantly surprised
I’m always nervous to try a new bag of coffee, because I know if I like it or not after only one espresso. But YES this bag is sooooo good. When I open a bag (especially decaf) and I get a sour or tart smell, I usually know it won’t be to my taste. I did not get that smell from this, but a solid, medium-dark, smooth chocolately smell. I brewed an americano yesterday and it was just right, not too rich or dark, no tart or sour aftertaste, just right in the sweet spot. This is now my official go-to decaf coffee bag, and the price is just spot on too. I don’t want to have a dependency on caffeine, so I can basically guarantee I’ll have a bag of this in my freezer for a few days a week.For reference, I did not like the BRCC Just Decaf bag because of the tart taste, and I did like the Kicking Horse decaf because it was more of a richer taste, but this bag tops them all. My usual is the BRCC Blackbeard’s Delight or some of the Kicking Horse blends, which I will stick to for caffeine. I only brew using an espresso machine (ok sometimes moka pot, Aeropress, pour over just to change things up at times).

Fine coffee
Tastes a bit bitter, but I’m no coffee snob, and otherwise it’s just fine coffee. The bag did leave something to be desired as it tore when I went to open it gently (having read reviews of a thin bag), so plan on storing it in another container.
