Great tasting decaf with better tasting price.
I like this brand in general and the fact that they are the cheapest doesn’t hurt. This decaf tastes great, and if you like it strong, just put an extra scoop. I like it strong and use 1 scoop per 4 cups.

The coffee itself is great, but….
I had been buying the 6 packs of Folgers Simply Smooth Decaf for my 94 year old father, an avid coffee drinker with medical restrictions; he likes the Folgers, he likes the Happy Belly even more. On March 7, 2022 I got an Amazon reminder that maybe I needed more coffee, inventory was getting close. On December 8, 2021 I had bought my last 6 pack of Simply Smooth, for $46.74/case. On 3/7/22, it was listed at $63.71! I looked for alternatives to the Simply Smooth and low and behold in the “similar to your past purchases” near the bottom of the webpage, “Happy Belly Decaf” 24 ounce, $6.72 a can, I ordered one, it came USPS the next day. Today, March 13, 2022 as I write this, the Folgers is back to $46.74 on the nose and the Happy Belly Decaf is now $8.27 a can. Now I do not know if this is some new marketing scam by Amazon, it is their house brand; or, just a coincidence; but I am suspicious. The pricing is still competitive but not the price of my first can (kind of like if Amazon was a dope dealer). The Happy Belly Decaf is an excellent alternative for coffee drinkers with demanding cardiologist’s and gastroenterologist’s who prescribe low acid/low caffeine beverages, tested on a 94 year old WWII veteran without hazardous results, and he liked it (rare occasion in itself).

Decent Decaf Coffee
This was decent decaf coffee, though it seemed to be a little weak in terms of flavor and I found myself using more grounds than I did with other coffees. It is a great value, however, and good enough to make it my daily drinker if there is nothing else in the same $/oz range.

It’s just plain old GREAT coffee!
So like many of you, I’m addicted to coffee in the morning. Something about that first cup…and the aroma while it’s brewing…that just sets the mood for the rest of the day. However, since I have heart issues and high blood pressure, I only drink decaf. Regular caffeinated coffee just winds me up way too much. So the challenge is finding a decaf that’s bold flavored and tastes delicious. I did all the name brand versions and most of them were just “Meh”. And then I discovered Great Value brand decaf at Walmart and it’s shockingly good. The problem is, they’re often out of it at the store…and you can practically NEVER find the larger containers, which I prefer, as I go through the smaller ones way too fast.So one day, I was buying a bunch of other stuff on Amazon, and ran across this Happy Belly ground coffee. Corny name…but I didn’t even know Amazon offered their own brand. I decided to try it…and this is now my second purchase of it. IT’S ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! Rich coffee flavor…smells great, tastes even better.If you’re not bothered by a non-branded coffee, save yourself some money and try this. Just don’t buy it too often (I don’t want it to be all sold out when I’m ready to order again!!!!) LOL. Enjoy! : )

I have bought this multiple times and I swear every time I get it, it tastes different, sometimes it’s a very good and other times it has an off taste to it like tree bark, LOL but I keep buying it because it’s a very good value, if I get a bad can then I set it aside and get another, and I mix the bad can with regular coffee, because I don’t need all the caffeine, but I don’t like sugary drinks and coffee helps with my diet, I mix a little vanilla and stevia with it. I just don’t know why it has such a variety of flavor. You can tell right away from the aroma when you crack the can if it smells good and it’s good if it smells weird I probably should just send it back…

It tastes as good as most canned ground decaf coffee
But costs less. I make my own 1/2 and 1/2 blend so I can drink more coffee but not get too much caffeine. This works just fine. As an after dinner coffee, this is fine. It does not have any distinctive taste – it is lightly roasted to me – there is no burned or toasted flavor. Just coffee. I will buy it again.

Fine grind coffee
The coffee is good and the price is acceptable, but the grind is too fine for our Keurig stainless steel refillable k cups. We end up with half a cup of coffee because once the water starts dripping through itâs just too dense. I got out the old French press coffee maker which works just fine. I hadnât used that thing in years, so itâs kind of nice to use it again. Coffee tastes kind of medium to dark and is perfectly acceptable to a French roast lover like myself.
