Premium quality at basic price
Looks modern and feels substantial, like a more expensive branded product. It is basic in its functionality, as thereâs no automatic timer, and the small size is only good for personal usage (not for multiple people or large pots). The motor is fairly quiet but very powerful. Cleaning is no worse than any other grinders, and the small size makes it quicker. If you enjoy prepping and making coffee the way you like it, then this is easily a great buy.

Works great for grinding flax seeds
I purchased this little grinder to try it out for freshly grinding flax seeds. I wanted to try Budwig and read that ground flax seeds start to become rancid 20 minutes after grinding. I wasn’t sure if the taste of the oil and ground seeds would be something I would be willing to do for the long haul, so I opted for this inexpensive grinder.
This little grinder is intuitive and easy to operate. Take off the clear top, add the seeds, pop the top on, careful to align the button on the lid with the base, press the lid/button and it takes off! Within a very few seconds I have finely ground flax.
I was pleased that the noise level wasn’t bad at all and was actually much less than I expected. However, coffee beans may be louder to grind. The actual sound of the machine is a light whirring sound.
Capacity is very adequate for my needs. I only grind 1 to 2 tablespoons of flax seeds at a time. The grinding does make them fluffy and take up more space, but I still have plenty of room. The idea is to only grind only as much as is immediately needed anyway, so that it is as fresh as possible.
I’m a newbie with a grinder so I’m not sure how much cleaning should be done. The only action I’ve taken toward semi cleaning it is to wipe it out a little with a paper towel. I don’t see where the base comes apart for cleaning the blade and little bowl inside, but I think these are meant to be dedicated pretty much to grinding one thing anyway, and wiping out the residue with a paper towel was effective.
This definitely met my needs and I would recommend this to others.

Basic economy grinder. Needs a better top.
Good grinder for the price. The top is very flimsy and sometimes doesn’t line up to turn on. Overall it works great. Not sure how long the plastic lid will last. The grinder section is sturdy and grinds the beans perfectly.

This is super fast…
ðI am so happy with this grinder…I buy whole coffee beans and needed a strong grinder to fine grind the beans.because it is a plug in and not battery operated this grinder does the best job and very fast…10 seconds and it is perfectly ground! Thank you Amazon Basics for a great high quality product.I also need this grinder for blending my spices & herbs and it is perfect for whole peppercorns …This items has multiple uses for my kitchen needs and it will make a wonderful gift for my family and friends tooð

Quiet and effective
I purchased this grinder around a week ago to grind spices at home. I have used it once and it has worked very effectively. I used it to grind a mix of black and green cardamoms, coriander seeds, star anis, cinnamon sticks, and black pepper. I was concerned that it may not be able to grind the fibers in cardamom husk and I might have to use a strainer to remove the husks but it was able to grind everything that I put in to a fine powder. It feels pretty robust and is very quiet during operation. The grinding jar does not separate so you can not wash it with water; I wipe it with a
a wet cloth after use. Since I am going to use it only for spices I do not see that as a big problem. However, even after wiping, the smell of the spices lingers so I will not use it for grinding things where smell might be an issue (e.g. coffee beans).

Fine performing simple grinder
I purchased a 2lb bag of coffee beans by mistake and ordered this grinder to use for this purpose. Itâs fine for this, is easy to use, itâs small in size, which I like, small capacity which might be a drawback for those who want to grind more at a time. The grind quality is what one would expect – it isnât as fine as factory ground, but the coffee is delicious. The grinder is powerful to be so small and affordable, and relatively quiet. Cleaning is easy. Iâm not sure how long it will last, so I will update if that is an issue. The only reason Iâm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I donât want people to think they are getting a gourmet coffee grinder. Itâs well worth the money if someone just wants to simply grind coffee beans they may have bought by mistake or are short on space in a kitchen, office, or camper.

Needed a grinder for my decaffeinated coffee beans to sit next to my coffee machine and this does the job perfectly! Simply put some beans in and hold the lid down for 10 seconds and you have ground coffee!
