ZunÃ¤chst habe ich die Genauigkeit mit bekannten Alkohol-Konzentrationen Ã¼berprÃ¼ft und war Ã¼berrascht, wie genau dieses doch sehr einfache MeÃgerÃ¤t funktioniert. Die Handhabung ist super einfach, das Ergebnis kann sehr deutlich abgelesen werden.Alles bestens.

Great Product!
I highly recommend this product received with accurate zero calibration. Tested on 80 proof and it was 100% accurate. This is the best one on the market.

Worth it even at 4 stars.
Only flaw is having to adjust the eye part. Not bad, actually a positive. Just my copy I have to back mine way out and then it doesn’t fit in the case. Only mono style meter like this style I have to adjust so far.

Impressive!
I wish they had pictured the really nice portable case it comes with as well! I was actually surprised by everything that came with the kit and everything seems to be of very nice quality including the stainless jeweler’s screwdriver for calibrating the refractometer.The refractometer has good weight and feels like a very solid product. I tested some washer fluid first, just to see if it worked, it did!. After dialing in the binocular style lens focus, I was very clearly able to see a reading. I used distilled water next to 0 out the indicator for calibration and it was dead accurate right out of the box.I would reccomend this for testing alcohol percentages in water and distilled spirits.

Exactly as described and accurate.
Appears to be high quality, easy to use, and seems accurate for testing wine and beer alcohol content. Was calibrated out of the box and did not need adjustment. It comes with a handy led light which is quite useful, and a hard plastic case, all for a very reasonable price.

Know the Alcohol level of your
The Alcohol Refractometer is easy to use. Just put a few drops on the slide and hold it up to the light. If there isn’t enough light to read the scale, a light is provided. You just need a usb port to plug it into.

For DISTILLED liquors only, NOT beer, wine, or hard cider.
Please read this product description carefully and ignore the user comments. The description correctly states that the product is for measuring the alcohol content of DISTILLED liquors. You CANNOT get an accurate reading with this or any other refractometer for beer, wine, or hard cider without first distilling them and then using this device. I was trying to use this to measure my homemade wines and they all read way too high. It is calibrated and works perfectly for distilled water and every commercial distilled liquor I tried on it. I came back here to return it and realized that the fault is mine for not paying close enough attention before buying.I’m giving this 4 stars despite its flawless performance on what it’s meant to measure, because the seller does get just a little sloppy saying that it is the “tool that professional and nonprofessional winemakers simply can’t be without.” I don’t know any nonprofessional winemakers that distill their wine prior to testing it for alcohol content.

Es para lo que es y lo hace bien. Si quieres medir bebidas a las que ya has aÃ±adido azucar, este no es el producto que buscas, pero para medir graduacion alcoholica de bebidas sin adicion de azucar, como pueden ser macerados de especias, si que hace lo que dice y una vez calibrado mide perfectamente.
