I have owned a number of these over the years and the performance or operation of each has detioriorated or stopped working in a short space of time. Having taken some apart they do not incorporate a proper switch and instead rely on contact being made by a bent piece of metal strip which quickly oxidises and fails to make a proper contact. At 3 volts even a slight reduction in contact is enough to stop the product working and appears to be the main issue with cheaper p[roducts. This frother spins faster than any other I have owned and apperas from the feel of it to incorporate a proper switch and should maintain its performance, plus it has a 2 years warranty. I have used it for a couple of weeks with no detiorioration setting in. Put the whisk end into your drink prior to switch on otherwise it will splash it out of the mug.

Perfect milk frother
How many milk frothers have I purchased that lasted less than a year after using? Too many. They are usually too delicate to last, batteries poppin out while using, etc. etc. Not with this one. It’s sturdy, and does a great job frothing and is easy to clean after using and does not fall over when placed back on the counter. Defintely worth the purchsase as this is a high quality product.

Froths milk well and seems to be holding up well.
When an older one of these died on me, I tried a cheaper alternative. It lasted about two weeks, so I came back for another Aerolatte frother. This quickly froths warm milk for cappucinno and lattes. The frother fits tightly in its case for safe traveling, and the case also works well for day to day storage, protecting the shaft from betting bent. If the shaft gets bent, the frothing tip wiggles all around in the milk, which can make frothing a bit messy by spraying milk out of the cup. It takes awhile to get used to using one of these as you need to raise it in the cup as you froth and move it around while frothing to avoid the tornado / whirlpool effect of spinning milk slopping over the sides of the cup. If this frother fails in the future, I will stick with the Aerolatte brand because it is well made and does the job very well.

It is a good product
One year ago I bough a frother in a one of this big design/furniture shops. I really like it, and I got use to have my morning coffee with the smooth sensation of the whipped milk. But after few month the frother stop working. I decided to look for another one and I bough the aero-latte. It is awesome. The capuchinos are great, the chai tea latte is better that the one you can find at starbucks. I love it. This little engine is so much powerful that the previous one and cost me almost the same. It is not that you have some bubbles in your milk, it is like having almost a mousse in your mouth. If I do more than 20 seconds, I have to use a spoon. The milk is getting almost double in volume. A good/easy recipe, mix cold milk with your favorite chocolate, less that 1 min with the frother and a fabulous and easy dessert is ready to enjoy.

Works Fine for What it Is
I have used this perhaps a half dozen times and so far, for the price and convenience, I am quite satisfied. I chose this version of the frother because it has a case and cover which, for me, was an excellent choice. This is a rather delicate little appliance and I have a feeling it could easily be bent out of shape or broken if stored among a stack of other items. I did not want one with a stand as I do not need more clutter on my counters. With the handy cover, you can toss it into a drawer and not worry about it. It is also super easy to clean. Following the advice of other reviewers, I changed the no- name batteries out before using it the first time. As for the froth. I use lactose free skim milk right out of the fridge and it froths up rather firmly in seconds. Surprisingly fast. Add a pinch of cinnamon and sugar and you are good to go. The foam is not as long lasting as I would like, but it is really just fine. A fun gadget that would make a nice little gift.

Short Life
Just 4 months after I purchased my frother, it was died. I have tried a few differently batteries but it no longer works. The quality was disappointing because my first Aerolatte frother lasted several years.

Wow! This is too easy and it turns out perfect!
I cannot tell you how many frothers I have tried. I have bought expresso makers that had built-in frothers. Stand alone frothers. I thought the more costs that are in SP. I never got a small device under $10 would be the one thing that actually works so well. However, nothing works so simple and is so easy to do then using this little device. Itâs amazing. Iâll even let you in on a secret. I was fixing breakfast this morning and I was scrambling eggs for French toast batter and I had just made my coffee. I looked over and saw the Aerolattee and thought why not??? I used it in the eggs for just a few seconds they were blended so smoothly. The French toast were absolutely perfect this morning. It did not feel like the eggs put any stress on the device. Now I would not recommend trying to mix anything with a consistency thicker then eggs. However, I will from now on use this on my coffee, scrambled eggs, and French toast. What a pleasant surprise. Itâs also made very well. It is not cheap and flimsy. And it takes up very little space. I donât like having it on the countertop so I simply just put it in the corner of a bottom kitchen cabinet. When I need it I just reach down and pick it up. Clean up is simple! Just read the directions before you use it. I always thought that you had to use warm milk. However, itâs specifically asked for cool milk. And like I said itâs worked every time! Well worth the money!

A wonderful little powerhouse!
Looked a long time at all the portable hand whisk … until FINALLY this one appeared in the searches that was so different from the rest! And I love it! The only suggestion is since it’s so powerful, use a deep coffee cup first because with a shallow cup when using it and or pulling the whisk out it will splatter all over the place. Only start it up and turn if off while it’s still in whatever you are whisking up. It’s small, light & charger friendly … so can use it for travel! So much better than the rest!
