Funziona a dovere ed è piuttosto facile da lavare. La consiglio.

This works exactly the same and is great. We kept the saucer from the previous model as that is the only thing missing from this version. Very handy for single person use or when making tea for two quickly. Loose tea gives far better flavour than bags and I think is more enviromentally friendly.

Deux petits bémols le prix excessif et le fait qu’il soit entièrement en plastique et non en verre.

Changes your tea game and brings you to the next level. Using loose leaf teas have become a joty with the ease and simplicity this brings to brewing. Completely blows everything else out of the water.

This is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever used. Period. It’s incredibly simple, but so, so, SO useful. Truly. (I opted to purchase it on Amazon over Adagio for the shipping.)This can also be used for hot tea, not just iced! It’s so easy to put the tea in, boil water, pour the water in, and let it steep. It’s how it should be. It’s like that with any tea maker, but it’s so much easier with this one. Compared to the old infuser that I used to use, this is a lifesaver. When my tea finishes steeping, I just have to pick up the infuser, place it on top of the mug, and let it empty. That’s it. Fine bits of tea rarely, if ever, get through, and it’s so much easier than having to pour. (I don’t need to worry about burning myself, or tea somehow pouring down the side.) I use glass beer steins from Ikea for my tea (glass doesn’t stain, and my girlfriend hates stains on mugs), and this fills up about one full one, and one half one. Depending on how many mugs / glasses you’re filling, the tea might taste a little different, so what I do is fill up one glass with 1/3 of the tea, the other with 1/3, and fill up the first with the other 1/3. (It balances out the flavor.)Cons- (they’re mild to me, but they might have a bigger impact on someone else)-The stopper sometimes leaks, but it’s only a drop or two, and only after I take it off the top of a mug, which is totally understandable. (Just a warning to anyone who really, really hates droplets.)-It can be a little difficult to clean, mostly depending on how fine your tea is. I’m able to get everything out by dumping it into the trash, and then rinsing it a few times.-It’s plastic, so remember that it might begin to stain over time.

I can really find no negatives about this. If you’re willing to have one more piece of “gear” for your tea making, this is great. It is so simple it almost belies a review! 🙂 Put the strainer in the bottom (comes out for washing), put your tea in (loose leaf or in bags), pour boiling water in and let it brew. That’s it.. using the handy (and cool) handle, place it on top of your cup and let the tea drain out, leaving the old leaves behind instead of in your cup. The tea automatically is released by a gravity-activated valve in the bottom of the Ingenuitea when you put it on the cup. Dump the old tea and rinse out the unit, and you’re ready for another round. The unit is said to be microwaveable too, but we haven’t tested that. That might be convenient especially at work or somewhere where you may not have a burner available. I’ve never made tea in a microwave so have no idea if it affects the quality of the tea.. whatever effect it has would be independent of this unit. The plastic in this unit is excellent food quality with no smells or tastes that I can detect, and the strainer is very fine so even fine teas don’t go through. It is also dishwasher-safe.Only two even remotely critical things I can think of is there are no graduations on the pot so you can see how much water you add, and the teacup you use must fit inside the rim of the bottom of the Ingenuitea so that it will release the valve. I did note in the above video review that her unit apparently came with a resting coaster which would be handy.. mine did not have that :(It is kind of expensive for what it is, but it seems it will last essentially indefinitely as there are no “wear” parts. I bought this as a gift for my daughter who is a dedicated tea-drinker. (I use the boring old teabags, so I don’t need one. I’d get one in a flash if I ever went to loose-leaf tea) There is a 32 oz version for only a couple of dollars more for those who make larger batches of tea.Edit June ’13: My daughter told me that this broke about Feb of this year, so that means that this only lasted about 18 months..I will say that she used it a LOT, sometimes more than once a day, but I think not very good as it is priced VERY HIGH for basically a piece of plastic with a screen. You’ll have to use your own judgement as to whether this is a good value by your standards.
