Really wanted to love this, but…
I was excited when this arrived but found out that the picture showing how the containers of tea bags are housed is very deceptive. I wanted to store them “upright” like the picture showed but the depth of the area is NOT tall enough to do anything but lay them flat. For my needs, I buy multiple boxes of the same flavor of tea so laying them flat does not even allow the contents of one box so I’d still need an alternate place to store the excess. Again, this is a beautiful tea box and I liked the “boxed in top” but I chose to return and go with another manufacturer’s tea box that holds more where they than can be stored either upright or flat as you choose.

Everything as expected
I got the acacia version of this product and it was everything as expected. The wood is solid without any engineered material and it was put together without any gaps. The handle was slightly finicky to put on because of the lack of a counter sink… But it went on as necessary. The drawer holds tea perfectly from all origins as the photo shows. The drawer is also easy open and close as well without any draw back. The expression is the recipient of this gift really made this worth it. I don’t think the asking price is that bad either. The only small thing to be aware is the initial smell is pretty strong and sharp but it goes away with good ventilation.

Nice Organized Storage for Teabags
I replaced a similar tea chest that opened from the top with this one and am quite pleased with the slide out drawer feature. I could never store anything permanently on top of my old one or I would have to move it all to get into it, so I appreciate this feature. This chest held about the same amount of bags as my old one. I have it out on my kitchen counter and store my electric tea kettle and sweeteners on top. It really didnât take up much more room than the kettle, which was already there. The wood is smooth and looks nice and the drawer operates as expected. The chest comes fully assembled with the exception of the drawer pull which was a little tricky screw on at first, but I figured it out. I will note that while the picture shows the teabags standing upright, I did have to lay mine flat in each compartment or the drawer would not close so pay attention to the dimensions relative to the type of teabags you are using. For reference, most of my tea is the Stash brand. Overall, this is a great addition to my tea station!

Looks Good, With a Couple Small Issues
I like this tea storage box because it looks (and smells) pretty good. While the wood quality is high, I think the overall fit and finish is lacking. The adhesive application was sloppy on one of the corners of the box, so there’s already a crack that appeared only a week into ownership. Additionally, the drawer is a little too shallow to store more than a few tea bags in each slot. The marketing materials show how the tea bags can be stood upright, however by doing so the drawer wouldn’t close. This box isn’t a bad product, but I think there’s much better value out there for the price.

Beautifully crafted wood tea bag storage!
This teabag wooden tea bag storage tray is beautifully crafted in wood. This would go nicely in your coffee area where you have your coffee machine. The knob is stored inside the storage tray and easy to assemble. The top tray doesnât come off but can be used to transport your tea to the table. The wood is very sturdy and you can use a wood cleaner to keep the wood looking good. There are eight storage areas inside the tray to store your teabags nice and neat. This would make a great gift for any tea lover!
